Highly Unrecommended.
2009 Duramax, Installed per instructions exactly. After 6 days, engine went into reduced power mode. On the side of the road, unhooked it, waited 20 minutes, started back up, and drove it to the dealership. I didn't tell them what I had installed because I wanted to know what the code was without their bias of knowing what I did.Technician said the code was a "Turbo underboost". Did no lasting damage to the pickup, but this chip did the exact opposite of what it's advertised to do.The chip hooks into the IAT sensor and fools it into thinking the temp coming in is diffferent. These truck computers are super smart, they just adaptively tune themselves to fix it or just throw a code. If you want real results, you need to reprogram with a real tuner.During the six days, no improvement in economy and had less power (seat of the pants) than before.Steer Clear.
