Update: About a year in this frame has started squeaking. Every little move you make in bed as you roll or shift your weight it squeaks. It is pretty annoying, not sure what could be done about it, but have to figure out something soon as its going to drive me crazy...Original review:Works well and the motors are VERY quite. Works great for watching TV in bed.Called support for a question before purchasing and they were great to speak with. So much, that is the reason I bought a L&P unit instead of a competitor. Have not needed to call them since purchasing.Very easy to setup, but need 2 people as you will need to flip it over after placing legs on it.I have had some issues with fitting in the bed frame. It does fit, but you have to find the perfect spot where it is not too close one way or the other to prevent rubbing. Then the bed does have a tendency to move a little, and you have to find that spot again. It has eventually made an impression in the carpet and doesn't move as much now. One trick I learned was to lift the head first, that pulls the bottom way from the foot board giving more room to prevent rubbing.

Edited and advice after bed repair1. Do not buy direct from ANY bed retailer, going through Amazons A-Z Guarantee is a MUST. It is worth paying more, they back your claims. Otherwise you are the mercy of the bed dealer who sent you a bad bed.2. We like (Don't love) the bed... Likes: Watching TV and reading with comfort, nice easy assembly. Dislikes: casters won't stay locked, I feel like Lucy and Ethel on the train episode. Easy fix, but should I have to? Even repairmen could not fix. Also mattress constantly shifts on foundation, even with holding bar at base. (FYI-w/ Sleep Innovation Mem foam/gel mattress) Maybe that happens with anyone who has Mem foam, not sure.Will post after sleeping for a few months.I have waited to write this review..but now I must...DO NOT BUY THIS BED FROM DEAL BEDS!! BUY DIRECT FROM AMAZON!...you will have no recourse otherwise. Leggett and Platt(the mfr of S cape) may have "invented" the adjustable bed, but they have no customer service to back up their products. I am not sure if the problem is Deal Beds or L&P but it doesn't really matter. We have been more than patient. DEAL BEDS HAS THE WORST CS EVER!!! They will only contact you if you hound them like a dog...and STILL I DONT HAVE A WORKING BED.After over a month of ownership, I have a this bed that HAS NEVER WORKED PROPERLY since it was delivered. Over 3 weeks return request and it still is sitting in my bedroom and isn't working properly. I have give them 3 weeks (3/8/16) to fix the situation, because they promised to may it "right". I have formerly asked for a return 4 times in writing. A service guy showed up MOnday and not one word since then.I ask you Deal Beds...Should I have to work that hard for my $1,000 bed?

I purchased this bed a couple of weeks ago through Amazon from New Rooms Direct. While Amazon may default to a particular seller, I clicked "other sellers" to see everyone offering it at that price with free shipping. I could then see the customer satisfaction ratings of each one, which varied quite a bit. The one I chose was highly rated, and they did provide great service. It was delivered in a week, and I had really good communication. They included the taller legs and headboard attachment at my request. I do not know if they would have delivered it inside, I was not prepared to get it past the garage that day. It was not very difficult for my husband and I to get it inside and set it up ourselves.As for the frame itself, we did quite a bit of research on the wall-hugging feature and this seems to be one of the most highly rated in that regard. We were told by others who own adjustable beds that we would really appreciate being kept closer to our nightstands. This frame does a pretty good job of that, however the thickness of the mattress is still going to be a factor. With our 13" mattress, it's still quite a reach to set down the teacup. Just setting reasonable expectations.We have a rug under the bottom half of our bed, and the top half is hard floor. Even with the casters locked, the frame moves easily. This is kind of a pain, because if it gets too close to the wall when you raise the head it scrapes against the wall. I recommend caster cups or some other means to keep the frame still, because locking the casters isn't enough. Your seller may provide replacement legs without casters with the order. I'm not sure if the casters would be stable enough on carpet with padding. Putting it inside our old bed frame helped a lot, but moving even a couple of inches allows it to scrape the headboard again. Our seller included headboard attachment brackets, so attaching a headboard directly to it may address this.The operation of the motors is quiet. There are two buttons on the remote that you can set to custom positions, plus a button for "flat." I like that the buttons on the remote are gently backlit when you press one, and that the remote can stand on end. We actually searched for a model without the massage because it makes the frames taller and we didn't see the usefulness of it. However, it seems all models with wall-hugging also have massage. Now that we have it, we sort of like it. It basically vibrates the bed as you would imagine, but you can adjust it to head and/or foot. It's pretty helpful for restless leg syndrome. It will shut off after 15 minutes.I like that it has a battery back-up feature. At least if the power goes out, the bed can be made flat for sleeping. Overall the sale and delivery with New Rooms Direct was good, setup was fast and easy, the operation is smooth and quiet, and we are happy with our choice (once we get it to stop rolling around).
