Good meat flavor, good price.

Used this for a large party and it went over great! Only recommendation is after hydrating it, put it in a frying pan for a couple of minutes to get that "browning" flavor and a bit of the texture you expect from taco meat.Used Penzeys Chicken Taco seasoning (vegan) and Better Than Bouillon Organic Vegetable base to add a bit of flavor. Non-vegan/vegetarians loved it!!

Maybe this stuff just isn't for my wife or me. But we thought this stuff tasted very bad. It did not remotely taste like meat, had a very bad after taste and smell. Do not recommend.
