Dell AC Power Adapter 65 Watt Dell PN: G6J41, 0G6J41, MGJN9, 43NY4

For some reason it didn't want to work on my Dell, not recognized. I got busy so I didn't get a chance to send it back. I ended up buying a power supply from eBay that worked like a charm. Looking online people were blaming everything from the battery to the motherboard to the jack for the error message that I was getting with power supply not being recognized. So happy it was just having the right power supply that did the trick. This power supply would not charge the battery, but it would run the laptop computer as long as it was plugged in.

Great OEM plug just doesn't fit what is said to fit. I am IT with over 20 years of experience. I have been buying replacement AC Adapters for years. This laptop is a Dell Inspiron 15 3541 according to Dell and this product page this Adaptor should have worked. This is my 3rd or fourth AC adapter for this system and so far none have fit or if they do fit the laptop say it can not identify the charger and has a high pitched siren noise every 5 seconds during boot and refuses to charge the battery.

I don't like the idea of replacing my computer's power supply with a third party hail mary while I'm crossing my fingers. Unless you're caught between powering your laptop and eating tomorrow do yourself a favor and pay the extra $5 or whatever for OEM stuff.

I ordered this charger specifically because it was a Dell product and I didn't want to risk using an aftermarket charger on my very relatively new laptop. I wanted to have a charger available in my office and have another one at home, so I was pleased that the model number was an exact match to the original. When I took it out of the package, I noticed lint on the velcro strap, but dismissed the idea that it was used. When I plugged it in, the monitor screen began to repeatedly dim then brighten and the battery status showed as plugged in but not charging. I wonder if it had been returned previously. Fortunately I tested it immediately and am returning to Amazon.

I lost my charger for my Dell laptop, so I bought this one instead. It didn't work at all and would state that the AC adapter is not recognized. So now my computer's basically on a life thread whenever I use this charger as it would supply enough energy to keep it up and running for the most basic operations but not enough energy for it to charge the battery and actually let me do anything on the computer without lagging like hell.

My Dell says this cord is “not recognized” and will not charge the battery even tho it’s the correct voltage. It does work while plugged in but if it’s even jiggled, my computer turns off. Waste of money.

This was a genuine Dell adapter, not some cheapo knockoff. So it works as expected with no surprises. I just wish Dell made the tip more durable or had a right-angle option because this is my 3rd one.

So far the charger works great there was a small hiccup in delivery but the company made it all ok with fast response to emailWould definitely recommend and buy feom them again
