All of Bernie Segel’s books are wonderful, including this one. I always keep extra copies of Love medicine miracles to give to people that are facing terminal illnesses.

Beautiful and powerful book... great for anyone who works in or utilizes health care (so... everyone). Stayed up reading it all night when my mom died. She had been reading it when she died of cancer and I was just looking for a quote to use at her service but couldn't stop reading. Should be required reading for clinicians

I have read all of Dr. Siegel's books and love them all. He has such good advise for anyone going through cancer treatments and for family. Such positive information that is helpful coping with life, you don't have to have cancer to benefit from this book. I plan to read it again.

I have Crowing Disease and this book has helped me deal with my doctors appointments and fears that come with them. it has given me empowerment to take control of my treatment and I highly recommend this book to anyone dealing with chronic illness.

Bernie Siegel has no doubt saved a lot of lives (including my dad) and has also improved the quality and meaning of my life. He wrote this book at a time when his ideas were viewed as insane and he was laughed at for the way in which he believes the mind and body are one in the same. Nowadays he is revered by doctors who have learned that he was right on the money. I think his work was a big part of the changes in medicine we have seen over the past 20 years.

This book was given to me when I had a liver transplant. What a blessing! Now I give it to anyone who faces a serious health situation. For me, it was an introduction into how I could help myself heal - by putting my mind to work to that end. It was my introduction to the mind-body connection, and how powerful the mind is in the healing process. I'm 25 years post-transplant, and happy to have been introduced to the concept that a healthy lifestyle also includes a healthy attitude. Every little bit helps - while medicine has come a long way - there is much that we can do for ourselves when it comes to healing. Thank you Dr. Siegel!

A superb book that all doctors and patients should read.

Excellent book. It gives a lot of insight about people who are fighting cancer and suggestions on what to do during your cancer battle.

I first read Mind, Medicine and Miracles (I think this is what it's called!). Bernie Siegal's study and connection with those who survive and fully recover, despite medical prognoses, is inspiring. The mind and the body work together, not as separate entities, although our health system in the UK would suggest differently. A quantum shift is needed to a more holistic system. We are all unique individuals. The doctor at the hospital recently told me that my father was unlikely to recover, but I said not to write him off. It would depend on his will to live and recover - and how people were around him - i.e. the message he received from the professionals and personal contacts. He had a cancer diagnosis 8 years ago, at 80 - and the nutritionist gave him a bag of liquid foods they anticipated he'd be needing. He's still here, hasn't changed his diet at all - and the liquid foods were thrown away. Unique individuals - and nobody can play the role of God in predicting how long we have on the planet. The number of factors involved in our health spreads across a wide spectrum - and this book offers interesting insights into self-healing and the power of care and love.

A serious study on the effects of mind on illness and dealing with it. A good thought provoking book well worth reading.

Very poor quality of paper & printing. Difficult to read. Price mentioned on book cover as Rs. 599 but sold at Rs.1090.Disappointed with the price & book quality received. Not yet read the content of the book.
