These marshmallow roasting sticks are a really nice product! My kids are finally old enough that we can start taking them camping and we plan to go several times this year so marshmallow roasting sticks are definitely a must and I’m so glad we found this really awesome set.I have a list of pros but I really can’t think of any cons with this product!1) The sticks come in a nice zippered bag so you can keep them all together and also keep them protected from dirt when you take them camping.2) They come with a little booklet of s’mores recipes and ghost stories. There are actually thirteen s’mores recipes! I had no idea there were so many different ways to make s’mores but now I want to try them all! And there are 4 short ghost stories, including The Hook which I had totally forgotten about from my childhood. A classic!3) I was worried they might be a bit wimpy since they telescope, but they’re actually quite strong even when fully extended. I haven’t used them with hot dogs yet, but I’m sure they’re perfectly strong enough to hold hot dogs too. The sticks have two prongs at the end instead of just being a single point, so that helps too.4) The color coding on each one is great so you always know whose is whose. The colors are very bright too, so easy to see in the dark around a campfire.5) The ends of the prongs are flat instead of pointy so even though you (or the kids) still need to be careful with them, they are less likely to hurt someone with the flat ends.6) I don’t know if this is saying something about the sticks or the marshmallows I used, but after I roasted a marshmallow, I slid it off the stick and (as usual) there was some melted marshmallow still on the stick. I stuck it in some water to soak and a little bit later I pulled it out of the water and there was no hard sticky mess as I was expecting! All the marshmallow had just come off in the water and I wiped it dry with a paper towel and that was it. I was seriously impressed by that!So all in all this is a really awesome set and I would definitely recommend it to others.

There marshmallow roasting sticks are terrific! They are color coded which makes it easy to differentiate whose is whose and eliminates any fighting over sticks or anyone losing theirs to someone else accidentally. They come in a black pouch which I didn't realize when I purchased them. But they go down to such a compact size and then fit into the pouch making it great for camping or trips as they take up less space and keep things clean. Lastly, they are obviously telescopic so you can roast your marshmallows or other items without getting too close to the fire. Really pleased with this overall. They are perfect.

Pros:+helps keep kids a safe distance from the fire while making s'mores.+great s'mores ideas in the booklet that comes with it.+color coded to help friends keep track of their stick.+flextible tongs so you can be sure your marshmellow stays put.Cons:-not easy to clean (though a brillo pad easily took care of the sticky mess, it did take some elbow grease)-storage bag is a little flimsy, but definitely was a selling feature for me in buying this set over others.

Been looking for a good alternative to long dirty wooden sticks for our 3 girls. The best part is the antenna like characteristic of the rods. Extend to about three feet and condense to a little over a foot to fit easily in the neat black zippered pouch. The ends aren't sharp and the gooey marshmallow comes off super easily with just water.

Much nicer than my old set. Extra long sticks and worked great around the fire.

Great for marshmallow roasting. Can't beat the price for 8 skewers.
