Almost there, but could fix a few things.
First, I will note that I prefer symmetrical layouts to controllers (left side with d-pad on top). With that said, I do like these controllers so far. They are much easier to hold than standard joycons in handheld mode due to the protrusions on the back to allow for more grip surface. All of the buttons and both sticks also feel very responsive (no dead space, nothing loose, etc). The keeping of the more compact size also makes it easier to hold; this is comparing it to the Hori controllers that are also very high quality but feel too wide to use comfortably. The biggest issue I have with the controllers is two items that kind of clash. This is that the sticks feel too high, which causes discomfort on the right controller when utilizing the face buttons, but also that the buttons (especially ABXY) feel too short/flat and weird to use for heavier action games. The short buttons and tall sticks also means mu thumb is often rubbing against the right stick, but Ive mostly gotten used to that. If they could fix those two things, this would be as close to perfect as I have used so far.

Much more comfortable than standard joy-cons!
I use my Switch almost exclusively in handheld mode and as such, I've purchased a couple of grip cases to make holding it for longer periods of time more comfortable. The cases I've gotten are great. I even had to modify one in order to fit a Hori left joy-con that I got for the d-pad and it worked just fine. However, I did want an option of having an ergonomic grip while also being able to place it in my dock overnight when done. I decided to get this one instead of the Hori split pad because the Hori looked a little too big in my opinion. I was surprised how well this one felt and performed. Thumbsticks are leagues better than the standard joy-cons. The d-pad is definitely clickly, but I actually prefer that over a more mushy d-pad. Two very, minor nitpicks I would have are 1) the rumble is INTENSE. I don't know if there is a way to reduce that, but again, it's something that doesn't take away from my gameplay experience. And 2) if you have something plugged into the USB ports on the outside of the dock (I have an 8-bitdo adaptor to use my Xbox controller to play when in docked mode) and you need to make sure it's on the bottom port. If you have something in both or in the top port, it will not dock properly. Otherwise, I'm very happy with these joy-cons.

Lasted one week before left controller started drifting. Go OEM instead of junk knockoffs.
The left controller lasted one week of light use before the left controller started drifting to the left. Save your money and purchase an OEM unit. Junk knockoff.

Pleasantly surprised..
I love these controllers, I'm always sketchy about buying third-party product, but I can safely say that these controller work really well, ergonomic, and they're a lot bulkier than the normal joycons, and because of that bulkiness oh, they do not feel like controllers made for little kids. I usually never by third-party controllers I always go Sony official or Nintendo official or Microsoft official, but these controllers are great oh, so much so that I damaged one of the buttons oh, I believe it was the trigger button while I was moving, and it still work oh, but these are so good that I went ahead and ordered another pair just because. I would highly recommend these third-party controller..

They are great!
I bought these as extras since we got a switch for Christmas. It has been a week and so far we really like them! I actually find that I prefer these to the ones that came with the switch itself. They are comfortable and thicker, so I feel like I am holding a Xbox/PS controller. They even connect/slide into the switch, just like the ones that came with it! I am really happy with this purchase! So far the battery life has been fantastic! They charged up pretty fast too, so I appreciate that as well. Plus, the colors are vibrant, so it is difficult to misplace them. As of now I just feel theses are a great value.

worked well for almost 2 weeks
Controllers worked great at first. Felt good, responsive, good battery life. After about a week and a half the blue or left unit would not hold a charge or would not fully charge. A problem but I was checking connections and charging ports to see if that helped. Now the unit makes my avatar keep walking forward. I can back up, or turn, but I can not stand still. I am contacting the seller for replacement or return. I will update my review accordingly.

Defect Controller / Great Customer Service
The controller is comfortable to hold and felt like an upgrade from the original switch controller. This controller lasted all of 3 weeks with very light play or use. We're not sure what the issue is now, but the controller has a mind of its own now and is not usable. We're not sure if it's short circuited or what. I'd give this 0 stars if I could. If the seller agrees to send us another controller, I will change my review. We'll wait and see how good the customer service is now.*UPDATE* - customer service contacted me and gave me a full refund. Although I'm disappointed the controller was defected, I am happy that customer service reached out and issued a full refund.
