Too bright for a bedroom or bathroom - even kitchen!!
This is a beautiful looking fixture( which is 5 star worthy ) but the Brightness!!!!!!! . This light is not 42W or anywhere near the equivalent .It is so blindingly bright it is unbearable .Such an inaccurate description . It is a very cold stark light . Not dimmable either. . What a huge let down . I read so many reviews beforehand . But never read if anybody else is of the same opinion , being overpoweringly bright .

Nice fixture, but problem installation.
Like others have said, the pictures of this light fixture are misleading. Go with the dimensions they give. They are accurate. Also, the provided instruction sheet is close to useless. You get almost as much help from looking at the actual light. If you don't understand electricity this probably isn't something you want to install yourself. The rectangles are well wrapped for protection, which is hard to remove and I was afraid I would scratch the finish. However, I did get it installed, and I'm very happy with the look.

This is a cool looking light. It’s very bright, however far too bright for the space I had planned to use it in. It’s such a vibrant stark white light, it felt more like a garage or warehouse light than an indoor one.

Hate Joke Light Fixture
Instructions call for "Installation by licensed electrician only." Very few written directions, VERY confusing illustrations, instead.

A bit cryptic on directions. First unit had a dead light, but Amazon sent replacment and all is good.
