A huge help on a weight loss diet
These noodles are amazing!20 calories per pouch but l find 1/2 bag an ideal helping for myself. They are a bit fishy stinky when 1st opened so you have to rinse them well. The secret is to dry fry to get rid of most of the water content to get a 'pasta' texture. I honestly can't tell the difference & it saves me 100's of calories Thank goodness for Konjac.

Good flavour
I tried this pasta substitute after going Keto,The flavour not bad and easy to cook but I didn’t like the texture very much

Amazing product
I have used the Eat Water rice and the pasta before. I have to admit when the sachets is cut open the product smells strange but don’t let it put you off.Once rinsed and used it is tasty and low calorie. I have been feeding it to my husband for three years and he has no idea it is not rice or genuine pasto.

Good!
I've been using konjac (or shirataki) noodles as a pasta substitute for years so I reckon I'm used to their quirks. These are very good and I will repurchase. The Good:-pasta taste is spot on, the oat fiber makes a difference-one pack is enough for a 2 layer lasagne in a 9x6 casserole (this was four HUGE portions). The bad:-these have the horrible smell all konjac noodles have (but disappears with a good rinse)-the noodles aren't all the same size or thickness. This wasn't noticeable in the lasagne but was when I washed them.-they are a little chewier than pasta and don't cut as easily but barely.-I always dry out my shirataki in a dry frying pan after rinsing to get rid of that squeaky texture but the fact some of these noodles were folded in on themselves made it really difficult. In future I'll have to do them one or two at a time (annoying!) to make sure they're properly dry.

Not so much lasagne.
I am currently doing a keto diet, so real sheets of lasagne are definitely off the menu. This "lasagne" is a little odd, as it does not arrive as sheets, but as a fairly gloopy mess. Having said that, it can be arranged to sort of simulate layers in a (in my case), vegetarian Quorn lasagne. The texture is a bit chewy, but immersed in enough cheese and tomato sauce, it is as good as it gets for me.

An acceptable alternative
If you are trying to reduce your carb intake, this product is a great alternative. It's pretty tasteless actually but dressed up, it is quite palatable, and is great when dieting because it contains very few calories, 0 carbs, fats or salts. Very little protein or fibre but I can get that some other way. Bit on the pricey side!
