Toilet and bathroom knocked into one; at my ex wife’s house. Builders took out the wrong switch, making it hard to reach the remaining switch,(she’s only 5 feet tall). This switch worked like a charm.Apart from the mither of sinking a deeper back box.Would definitely recommend this product. And will be buying again for her.

Really confusing instructions, had to watch a YouTube video before realising the capacitor goes on the light itself

I purchased two, one gang switches and followed the instructions but got no further than very rapid flashing, seeming to indicate that it was ready for Smart Life pairing - but it wouldn’t. In the end, I removed the front plate and tried Smart Life again. Success! When I then added the front plate again, the apparent pairing flashing started again, plus a series of one, two and four beeps. It then stopped the flashing and was ready for use.For the second switch, I left the front plate off until it was successfully paired and again, when I added the front plate, I got the same flashing and beeps, then ready.To add to Alexa, it just needs a command to Alexa to ‘Discover devices’ or just, ‘Start Discovery’ and Alexa will scan for newly added devices and report them. While they didn’t appear immediately in the device lists, they responded to voice commands and were available to add to groups.I also found the fitting screws didn’t match the thread size in any patress box I have - I simply used the ones from the switch being replaced.

Before trying to fit the first thing to check is the depth of the back box they're going into... These switches and deeper than regular light switches. Wiring the switch itself is n is quite staight forward, just two wires, and pairing is simple. Finding a connection for the capacitor is less straight forward as it has to be in to be in the live/neutral feed and it's far too big to fit inside a ceiling rose. My solution was to wire out then in of the ceiling rose and make the connection up in the ceiling.Once all done works faultlessly. One bonus I found with these is fitting an extra switch to a light, for example either side of a long room. All the additional switch needs is a live wire then it can be paired with the existing switch without being wired into the lighting circuit (but it only works over a wi-fi connection)

The product does what it says on the tin. I had to deepen the backbox to 35mm which made a bit of mess but when the switch was finally installed it worked as expected with tuya. I joined tuya with Google home and job done. But you need to understand that this is a glorified dimmer switch and not exactly on/off switch. This is because to respond to commands the device still needs to draw power from the mains and because it doesn't have a neutral the power reaches the light. This is why installing the capacitor is important. If not a low power light will flicker on and off. Oh! And don't install with a remote controlled light. I learnt that the hard way!

Got these in every room except the bathroom/loo. Can use for 2-way switching by not physically connecting the switch but using it to fire a scene in Smart Life. Depending on the bulb can sometimes make it buzz very quietly but it's not obtrusive.Highly recomended.NOTE: Don't try to screw down and put the top on with power connected, stings a bit (ouch!)

It needs a slightly deeper back box than a standard light switch, but other than that fitting it was easy enough. The biggest problem was getting it to connect to the app. Its the same with all the Moesgo products, the instructions for adding it on your phone are always for an older version of the app. Works like a dream, and integrates well with Alexa. We bought it for just one room, but the kids love it so much they want is replace all the switches now.

Really lacking instructions…the instructions provided are very poorly written…managed to figure install eventually with YouTube searches and a lot of trial and error! It has become disconnected from my internet so the smart element is now useless and reset instructions do not work. The product doesn’t perform as set out in the poorly written unclear instructions. If anyone has figured out how to set up and reset this product please share!!! I have a second one for quite a while now going to waste because of how difficult it is to set up!
