Display2go w/ 47" LG 47LE8500 in vertical mode for Japanese Shootem Up (SHMUP) Video games
This item came boxed exactly from the Seller. Aside from the typical sale this also came w/ a bonus Shelf which is also displayed in the picture. The shelf is rated to about 11lbs so mostly anything but a very heavy computer can probably sit on it w/o any issues. Now I purchased this with the intent of using a TV in portrait mode most of the time for my Shootem Up video games. In the vertical mode (or tate in Japanese) the game takes full advantage since you are mostly going up to down. Once in awhile I'd like to rotate it horizontally in order to accomodate other games. Assembly of the base unit was pretty easy. The included instructions are a little tricky as its not exactly clear. This is the manufacturers fault. The instructions CAN be better. If it was like IKEA it would be much easier. There are so many parts to accomdate TVs that are bigger than 200x200 vesa.I installed a LG 47LE8500 TV (47" which weighs 50 lbs). Installation was pretty much easy in the way that I did it. I would highly recommend having someone helping when lifting and attaching the TV to the stand. My tv was 200x200 vesa so I didnt need the bracket and the extra adapters. Once installed you can easily roll it. I found it much easier to roll it when the TV was in vertical mode instead of horizontal mode. The construction of the stand feels pretty dam good and its not incredibly heavy. Also the wheels are lockable. You just have to make sure if you want that clean look you need some very long cords. The stand is rated up to 65lbs or so and supports 47". I'd imagine as long as your weight isnt that more it can support more than 47".Also rotating the tv attached is a little snug but I'm very OK with that. I'd rather have it snug than super easy to rotate. I'll imagine in months or years it might be a little easier. Just need to break it in.Also folks wonder if this thing is going to tip over. I think its engineered well enough that the base can handle whatever you throw at it as long as it doesn't exceed the supported weight. So this pretty much accomplished what I needed to do. I have included some pictures of my setup for show. I've been after one of these for many years but I didn't want to pay HUNDREDS of Dollars. Any questions feel free to ask!

Bad instructions, No description
Bad instructions, No description, hard to read diagrams. A lot of screwing is required. Some screws are annoyingly hard to start. Much less flexible than the product page seemed. Stand seems solid and mostly a one time set and forget because it is hard to solo adjusting after it is all together.

Great for Funny Angle Bedroom TV Viewing
I purchased this item for my bedroom TV. I like to watch lying in a certain position that requires the TV to be up high, tilted downward, and cocked slightly sideways. When I opened the package and began assembly, I was disappointed to learn that one of the casters couldn't be inserted into the base because of a metal burr in the hole where it was to be inserted. I called the company and they asked for photos of the defect, then immediately sent me a new base unit and a return pickup of the old base. They also sent a new caster since I stripped the first one trying to get it in the hole. Customer service folks were friendly and very helpful. The product itself is heavy, has a nice finish, and comes with many bags of parts to fit the mountings of many sizes of televisions. The instructions were practically useless but eventually I was able to figure out a configuration that worked. You are supplied with tools, but I found it was easier to grab some "real" tools for the assembly. The power cord for my smart TV (attached to an extension cord) and another cord have been threaded down the hollow pipe and out the bottom to the power supply. This was not easy, they kept snagging up on the interior of the pipe and I had to jam something in there to force them down. But now the look of the whole setup is very tidy with no cords hanging around.Raising or lowering the TV or changing the angle is a two person job. One person to bear the weight of the TV and the other person to work the tools and guide the hardware into the new desired position. Once assembled and configured the way you like it, this unit is rock solid and easy to roll to the desired room location . It feels very stable and I can't imagine it tipping. The casters have locks on them in case you have kids or just want to lock the TV in place for some reason. The nice matte finish doesn't take fingerprints and is very unobtrusive. There are two shiny black plastic pieces that snap on to form a shroud over the spot where the base unit screws onto the pole/post. I preferred the slightly industrial look of the exposed matte finish hardware to the shiny plastic, which tends to attract dog hair.Overall a very nice product.

Great stand, works well for tradeshows
I purchased two units for a tradeshow for a less than the price of a rental. I mounted a 46" LCD TV to each stands, and they worked great. Assembly was fairly easy, took about 30 minutes per unit. With so much hardware included, the instructions should be clearer to specify exactly which nuts and bolts are to be used. However, there is enough hardware and mounting options to accommodate for various TV options. The stands were very stable, even on carpet with 1" padding. In addition, the casters can be easily removed if the stand doesn't need to be mobile. The viewing angle and height was easily adjustable with the included tools. The design allows for cords to be routed through the interior of the stand, which is great for keeping a clean look. The powdercoat finish looks great, and it looks like it will hold up for years. My only complaint is the plastic cover on the base which doesn't stay together very well and may need to be glued. Very happy with the product overall.
