VIFLYBeacon Wireless Self-Powered Drone Buzzer with Battery Lost Drone Alarm Tracker by Motion Sensor for DJI Quads, FPV Quads and Airplanes

After getting my AVATA and starting to learn how to fly it I managed to crash twice - neither with any damage, but both took time to find - the second one was 50' from where I had clipped a tree branch as it had fallen out of the sky and then bounced and cartwheeled along the grass - rough and tall grass.So a friend found this and I took a punt, arrived in 24 hrs, took a bit of time to dismantle the top frame and fit it under there using a sticky pad that it comes with - plenty of room, but have to mount at an angle to get the USB in for charging and to managed to click the on/off switch.Used it for first time today, took off in a hurry before I had satelites locked, resulting in an inevitable crash in the woods - landed in bracken!The buzzer duid exactly what it shoul;d easily audible for thr 50' we were away, and it led us straight to the AVATA, an excellent result..Quality is good, happy with this, would definitely recommend!

It beeps but not when it crashes so drone lost

I stuck it on my Babyape FPV quad. This was the first FPV flight I have done with that quad in the open countryside, and for some reason I lost control and it went very high and got blown way off course. I panicked and rather than calmly look around and fly back, I disarmed, so it crashed in some field but I had no idea where. After an hour of trudging through fields in the direction I thought it was, I tried walking through another field that was down wind. By this time I had resigned myself to having lost the quad (and all the upgrades I had just made to it). Halfway across this one field I thought I heard a slight chirp. It is amazing how easily the human ears can locate this chirping. Turning towards it I walked across the field and there it was! I was very lucky to have found it. The only think is I wish it was a louder chirp as I didn't actually hear it until I was about 100 meters from it. However without that beacon it would have been totally lost. Bottom line is the thing works and does its job very well. I highly recommend putting these on your FPV quads, it could save you £100's.

Son balizas que realmente va bien, tengo varias y algunas desde hace bastante tiempo y no me han dado el más mínimo problema

Indispensable si vous avez le risque de perdre votre modèle réduit ou votre drone qui sombrerait dans un champs suite à un problème. La galère pour retrouver un drone dans un champs de colza, par exemple. Mais même sans aller jusque là, dans l'herbe haute, c'est vraiment pratique pour le retrouver. Il bip très fort dès qu'il détecte un choc de chute ou une trop longue inactivité. Et vraiment, ça aide !La recharge par USB est bien pratique pour la légèreté. Il ne faut juste pas oublier de le mettre en marche avant le vol. Je l'ai callé derrière la caméra de mon DJI Avata, fixé avec le double face fourni. Mais je sais que là, même si le double face lâche, la balise ne pourra pas se sauver car il faut démonter la "cage" pour l'y mettre. Par contre, bien choisir l'endroit de fixation pour pouvoir activer facilement le bouton de mise en route et laisser la prise de recharge accessible (c'est pas super facile).

Questo piccolissimo dispositivo (la foto non rende l'idea) puó essere fissato al drone in qualsiasi posizione (controllate peró non dia noia ai dispositivi di rilevamento o anticollisione) e, una volta acceso, provvede due funzioni:-In caso di volo notturno: luce pilota, un potente led lampeggerá blu (solo nel caso di luce ambientale bassa, quindi ottimo per il volo notturno) e vi permetterá di vedere il vostro drone molto piú facilmente-In tutti i casi: beacon nel caso di perdita/schianto. La cosa bella di questo dispositivo é che non serve nessun cablaggio in quanto utilizza un sensore interno per "capire" quando il drone sta muovendo in aria o quando si é schiantato a terra. In quest'ultimo caso fa suonare il suo cicalino (non ho misurato se effittivamente sono 100dB, ma vi assicuro che si sente bene) e, in caso sia notte, continua a far lampeggiare il potente led blu per avere un'ulteriore sistema di localizzazione.Il tutto funziona con una sua microscopica batteria integrata (quindi funziona anche se quella del drone si toglie a causa dello schianto) che ha una durata di diverse ore.Che dire, ottimo veramente.... Personalmente sul mio Mavic Air l'ho fissato dietro, sulla parte superiore, lasciando piú spazio possibile tra il beacon e le due piccolissime griglie di aerazione posteriori, con un biadesivo ad-hoc della 3M (per capirci quello grigio gommoso che forniscono con gli attacchi della GoPro). E'importante che questo sia di qualitá.... se nello schianto il beacon si stacca dal drone.... beh avete buttato entrambi a causa di un tape non all'altezza.
