The item worked like a charm once it was installed but getting there took some work. I looked up YouTube videos to see where it was and they didn't help in locating it. I had to take apart the dash more than expected to get clear access to the old unit.

Worked for a 2012 USDM Honda Civic Sedan EXL! Super happy to have the correct plug after orders from sellers that didn’t fit and stated they did. Although, this didn’t list my application as fitting either. Make sure the plug matches for your application! Dealer wanted $80!

Found the solution to the parasitic battery drain on YouTube EricTheCarGuy: How To Perform a Parasitic Draw Test. The original resistor was pulling 220 milliamps when the engine was not running. This part dropped that drain to normal. Fixed my 2016 Honda CR-V EX

Fit in my 2015 CRV. I had an issue where the blower wasn’t working consistently and DIY was a much cheaper option than the dealership. Not the easiest to get out, but it was doable with the help of a YouTube video.

Ok, so it fits and works for my Honda crv 2016. In my case, the resistor didn't come with the bubble wrap. Also, worth mentioning, the cooling fins are slightly thinner than OEM and of course the whole resistor is not as heavy. Installed on 11/12/2020 - I'll report back if this malfunctions. I live in the desert.
