Jeff Daniels is a brilliant actor surrounded by a fantastic cast. The writing is really great.

Great show. Received timely and had no issues with the DVDs. Thought the show was great.

I stumbled across the opening scene on YouTube where Will unloads on the assembly and I was very intrigued. I told my wife we should check it out and we both fell in love with the short but albeit powerful series. It encourages critical thinking, recognizing personal biases, and seeking to understand the context of events.Trusting any one source of information, or multiple sources of information that seek to fortify a given position, can make it harder to accept that the opposite of what someone has come to believe can actually be the facts of a matter. Seek out the truth...if that journey takes you down some uncomfortable roads, then you'll be on the right path.

I feel it was one of the best series ever made. I am happy to have it and have watched it several times.

The newsroom is one of the most rational, realistic series I have had the privilege to watch. Not all news operations are like this, of course. Many are there to make cash for shareholders, owners, etc. I have had the privilege to work for several news organizations, print and network. Much of the time in local news operations. I enjoyed this series more than you can imagine, and highly recommend it to anyone who wants an inside peek at news operations operated w/ integrity and not fealty to stockholders, as their focus.

Never saw this series when originally aired and now I wish they had at least 7 seasons instead of 3. You'll have to watch this more than once to follow since it's so fast-paced. We'll be watching this again!

I felt like they played like home made copies. I tried on 3 different players so problem is with cds.
