Spud inc. Products rock
I use to buy APT until I found Spud Inc products, these things are indestructible. I have had some spud straps for years and they never fail. This strap is very heavy duty and its the same quality as every other spud equipment I own.

Amazing product for doing squats
I had not been able to do free bar squats for years due to shoulder impingement (I'm 64). With this product, I'm now able to do free bar squats again. This simple-to-use, compact device keeps the bar completely stable and comfortable on my back. I highly recommend this product. For me, it was worth every penny.

Poor design, can only use light weight
The product slides around on the bar, not good for heavy weight, great if you are squatting 185lbs. May as well do machines and focus on depth.

It's okay
This is a decent product , it's okay for powerlifting for really light weight but anything over 300 lbs you're better off with a real squat bar .

Solves problem of shoulder Issues, But changes the weight distribution.
This does solve the problem of shoulder issues and limitation due to ability to do regular bar on the back squats. it is possible, by the way you lengthen or tighten the strap to do high bar or low bar squats. HOWEVER YOU HAVE TO GET USED TO THE CHANGE IN WEIGHT DISTRIBUTION. The weight will tend to ride higher on your back, causing you to need to compensate to hold you back straighter throwing more activation on your quads and less on you posterior chain of muscles. ( glutes and hams) Also you have to relearn to control the weight by raising or pulling you arms to bring the straps out or in to your body. Just be ready to work with it and learn the basics of how it reacts with light weight until you get the hang of it....

Great addition to gym bag for those who don’t have access to a safety squat bar
This’s strap has been a fantastic edition to my workout. Distinctly different to a straight bar squat but since my shoulders don’t let me do that anymore and I don’t have access to a safety squat bar, this is a good compromise. It’s a little less stable than directly gripping the bar but has allowed me to lift far more than I have in years.Make sure that you have a spotter or squat rack safety bars as you can’t bail by dropping the bar when using this strap.

Not good
Nice concept but poor design. Unstable and not secure enough for real weight. Slides along bar, not worth the money
