My grandson didn't like this book. He had asked me to purchase another book on Amazon and I forgot and ordered this one. I think it is a great book to keep current in math skills for boys his age. Admittedly he has had some traumatic events surrounding the subject of math, bordering on making him ambivalent toward math altogether. I still like this book because it is so comprehensive.

Great math stories for reading comprehension and math skills; engaging and fun for students in middle grades and even high school. Real world problems that are motivational and build background skills. Great for homework, extra credit or Friday afternoon activity.

Excellent book to add reading and comprehension skills to the math classroom.

This is a great book for anyone who struggles with word problems. The different level questions make it easy to use with various grade levels.

Finding adult appropriate materials at the right level for intermediate Adult Ed can be challenging. I like this book because it's not TOO juvenile and it's contextual and relatable for my students. They've loved the 3 units we've done and I look forward to using it for the rest of this year.

This book is absolutely awesome. No student can ever ask, "when will I use this?" with this book in your arsenal. I just wish there was more time in the class day to incoorporate more of this book. I've only used the first couple of lessons, but they use algebra, finance, and application skills. Fantastic!

Book is awesome. Kids love the stories. A great way to incorporate reading and math in your classroom. I love the leveled questions. A perfect way to differentiate.
