Range it not fantastic. You'll really struggle if you're outdoors in bright sunlight. I rarely use this anymore because it's so difficult to get to actually work. If you're in a pinch and poor this can get you by but if you have choice a device that uses radio frequencies and plugs in the control port of the camera would be better option. With those devices you'll most likely get other functionality as well such as intervalometer or smartphone control.

I had previously purchased an Amazon basic wireless remote. I lost it when traveling, and was hoping this would provide more range . It didn't. And after ordering it, the same day, I found my other wireless remote. This certainly offers no advantage over the Amazon basic remote. While it works, it doesn't always fire the camera, must be held in front of the camera , and frankly I was hoping for more.

As soon as it arrived, I tried it out, and the range on this remote is fantastic! I've had other remotes, and when you got over twenty feet away, they just wouldn't work. This works beyond twenty feet, and I couldn't be happier! Not sure of the exact working range, but it's far enough for me! VERY pleased with my purchase!

Good and fast delivery

Not much to product, so not much to say other than it worked just as described. Depending on your model Nikon, set the camera to the Remote function and you are ready. I used it for the first time on July 4th, to capture some fireworks. It worked great. Planning on some family portraits soon, and now I don't have to run back and forth to get in the pic!

The remote was ordered from overseas so the long delivery time was understandable. So far it has performed as advertised, and with easy setup. So users have had problems with range and directions of activation. I have used the remote from as far away as 12 feet and from an angle of about 45 degrees off center, and it has work each time. For the cost, this is one of the best purchases I've made so far.

Didn't work. I have 3 separate cameras & none of them worked.I had to dig out an old one that is Amazon brand - I've had it for years & thought the battery had to be dead - THAT worked.This one is pure junk.

I bought this as a alternative to the Nikon one as price was a big difference. It works like a charm on my D3200 and even came with the battery. I have been using it for some time now for long exposures and day or night it works up to about 10' (3 meters) away so far.
