Q: Can't work out how to change erasers and use colletts. Instructions in Chinese. Help needed please.

Pull the grey 'clamp' part out (the part holding the eraser). It will automatically open up and the old eraser will fall out (or you can remove it). Then, place the new eraser in, squeeze the clamp together and shove it back into the handle part. (it'll go back any which way). I usually push it straight on, just to make sure it's all the way in.

Q: Are the 2 plastic colletts provided an alternative to metal one or does it go in the metal one?

They are extra, you don’t use one inside the other. They may be to hold two different erasers, one thick and one thin.

Q: Does this eraser oscillate like Derwents or spin straight like a drill?

The electric eraser is rotated by the motor, which drives the eraser to rotate

Q: What brand is this ? Will i get Tihoo written on it ?

They come with a variety of different names, despite coming from the same mould. I have an Afmat brand and a Tenwin brand, but to all intents and purposes they are identical in shape, function and reliability...don't let a name put you off they are all great and as good as eachother... Bargains can be found!
