THERMOS FUNTAINER 10 Ounce Stainless Steel Vacuum Insulated Kids Food Jar, Teal

I thoroughly read the reviews and suggestions prior to purchase, and feel I can now say that these were one of the best impulse purchases of 2020. My kids can’t warm up their lunches any more at school, and they were getting bored with PB&J. But who wants soup every day? So, like others suggested, I boil water and fill them, then put the lids on while I am prepping breakfast and their lunches in the morning. I heat up their lunches (Li’l Smokies, pasta, baked potato, really anything) and transfer them directly to the (emptied) now-hot thermos, put the lid on, and 5 hours later their lunch is still hot. At least 10 minutes with the hot water seems to do the trick.I also STRONGLY encourage removing the gasket and using a straw cleaner to scrub inside the lip of the lid. This has kept anything gross growing around the gasket or inside the lid, and the gasket still looks brand new and ZERO leaks after using them multiple times per week for a couple of months now. The stainless steel inside is easy to clean, and the colors are beautiful (I got two teal so my kids won’t fight over colors, but plan to buy more colors after Christmas... y’know, for variety).

I came across this item when it was a Prime Deal and absolutely LOVE IT! My son is a fan of hot lunches from home, which of course is always a challenge. His school offers to heat up lunches, but they also caution that too many requires time to warm up and I don't want my son too wait too long during what seems like an already short lunch period. So when this was on sale i figured i'd try it and now I might need to buy a few more! My son says his lunch is always still hot - great for pastas and soups which are his go-to lunch of choice. For a 6-7 year old it fits the perfect amount of food where it might still have one or two bites left when he comes home. It's also easy to clean and stainless steel on the inside which is ideal. The only thing I worry about is how well the lid will hold up being mostly plastic, but I've never been disappointed by a Thermos product, so I feel like it'll be fine. Definitely a good mommy buy!

I have 4 of these that I had bought a few years ago and I can confidently state that they work like a charm; keep's the food warm/cold and secured. I use them to provide lunches for my kids. My biggest concern getting these was whether or not they might leak but that was put to rest the very first week when I provided the kids with some soup. The cylinders fit well in the kid's lunch boxes and are sturdy enough to withstand a fall on the concrete pavement! They are also dish washer safe. I will recommend this product.

This thermos is ideal for daycare meals for a toddler! We use this almost daily, and by following some of the other tips in reviews, it keeps food warm for several hours. We warm up the food first, and also fill the thermos up with some hot water enough to warm the interior (which we then dump out and replace with the heated food). It is just enough for a few bites/chicken nuggets/pierogis/noodles/etc. It also fits perfectly inside one of those cute Skip Hop lunchboxes like , while still providing enough space for other snacks, a yogurt, etc., and allowing the lunch box to still zip shut. It is wide and shallow, so much more of a child's portion than something for adults, if that is what you are looking for. You do have to hand wash it instead of using a dishwasher, so that may be a negative for some.

Wonderful for keeping foods hot or cold for our twins! We love that they're stainless steel, the right size, and our twins don't get upset bc their chili isn't warm when we don't have anywhere to heat it up, lol.The only cons I would say are it is a bit tricky to keep 100% clean, but I'll take that over plastic and easy to clean anyday. We already love the Thermos funtainer we have, and they've been through A LOT, so we know these are durable too.Can't speak to the leak proof, as we just haven't tested that out, willingly or on accident.

The color is AMAZING!!! And it works perfectly. My 10 year old uses it to take lunch to school. We temper it first and then had her hot lunch. 4 hours later, her lunch is still hot! The size is perfect for fitting in her lunch box as well as giving her enough food to eat at lunch. It is super easy to clean.We will definitely be buying more.

I heated soup and put it in. It was warm after 4 hours but not hot. Will heat it longer today and see if it keeps it warm. It’s kept food warm or cold in the past so I just think I didn’t have it warm enough.
