Casual Home 3-Shelf Folding Bookcase (14" Wide)-Walnut

This is a great item. It is attractive, and well made. No assembly required just unfold , drop shelves and it's ready to go. Perfect for a small space but it holds lots of books. II looked for hours on line before I found this little gem. It is perfect for my needs and I highly recommend this product.I bought the honey oak shade which is very nice and blends well with the rest of the furniture.

Good quality, sturdy, easy to assemble

This is a great little bookcase. It unfolds so it does not have to be "assembled" in any way. It's a nice shade of walnut and looks good with other dark wood furniture. Holds a lot of books and it's very stable.

I love the shelves. Perfect size and function for the space I need. I love how it folds up. The only negative was the color of the wood. I got the honey oak and it looked too orangey so I ordered the mahogany which was even worse in how orange it looked, so I kept the honey oak

This bookshelf/stand is really awesome because you don’t have to put it together at all. It just unfolds right out of the box.Also, it fits perfectly those little fold out storage boxes.However, I do think it’s a little bit rickety for a kid’s room If they’re under the age of like 6. You can attach it to a wall, which would probably make it work, but my kids would’ve taken this thing apart when they were that age. Because it can fold right up and they would’ve been messing around with it, folding it etc.

This bookcase is of acceptable quality: it appears to be made of solid wood. The assembly was very simple; you just have to make certain that the hooks engage on both sides of the shelves. This bookcase can be stacked: there are holes on the bottom of the legs in which the pins at the top can be inserted.As other reviewers have mentioned, the bookcase is a little wobbly from side-to-side. However, for my application, I just needed a narrow filler bookcase to set between two more substantial bookcases.I would have ordinarily given this bookcase 4 stars for its construction. However, the color definitely does not match the description: the color is more reddish (like a light cherry), rather than the brown I would expect from a color named "Honey Oak." Fortunately, the bookcase is in a private area, so the color mis-match is not a real problem. For that reason, I deducted 1 additional star from the rating.The box indicates that the bookcase was made in Thailand; so, at least its not Chinese-made trash.

I subscribe to and enjoy a number of magazines...often read before bed...but my mom had been in hospice and I was her primary caregiver the past couple years or so and I seemed more exhausted and less focused so the magazines began to pile up...it was a mess...and so I invested in this shelf which opens and needs virtually no assembly, no tools...just slide it out of the box open each side up and pull down each of the few shelves that come to rest on a little spot made for it...the magazines are still not all read, but it looks so much better and organized/tidy. And bonus was that whatever finish I chose...maybe it was walnut? It matched near perfectly with a vintage side table it is next to which I thought might have been cherry or mahogany...

Very easy assembly. Packaged well. No damage. Arrived on time.

I had something very similar when I lived in the US, having bought them at a grocery store many years before, so when I realized that I needed another couple of them, I was really glad to find what looked to be the same thing here on Amazon.ca. They turned out to be not quite the same (I couldn't stack one of these new ones on top of one of my original set, and they were also more on the red tone than the espresso brown of my original ones). I'm actually thinking of ordering a couple more so definitely would consider these again.
