This optical cable is constructed far better than any others. That does make it a bit heavy, and it can’t be bent around tight corners. But if durability is a high priority, this is unquestionably the best choice.Almost 10 years ago, I bought two of these to connect stereo systems in two rooms. When they arrived, their construction was quite surprising. “Who designed these things, a battle-tank commander?!”About five years ago (2019) I moved to a smaller home, and brought the cables with me. The 75 footer now goes from the living room to the master bedroom. The 50 footer goes from the living room to another bedroom. (The living room tuner itself uses a tiny 1 foot cable from the splitter.) The current splitter is an “eSynic 1X3 SPDIF Toslink Optical Digital Audio Splitter”, purchased in 2019. The splitter is powered 24/7, and has yet to fail. In each bedroom, the cables are attached to cheap, right angle adapters. Cheap adapters sometimes don’t work, or they break, so I bought extras. The adapters are because the cables are so thick, they can’t bend 90° in short distances. Even with the cheap adapters, the music always comes through loud and clear.After having a couple of the two-part adapters break apart, their replacements were superglued together. Once the positioning of the adjustable adapters was determined, they were each superglued into solid pieces. A little baking soda sprinkled onto superglue causes it to instantly harden. I personally prefer using “Loctite 1364076 Super Glue Easy Squeeze Gel”.When a friend asked me to create a similar setup for her own home, I selected the same cables. Prices had skyrocketed on Amazon, so the decision was made to buy them elsewhere. I’m pleased to report prices have returned to reasonable here, but not all lengths are available.I don’t anticipate ever needing to replace these cables. They’re far more durable than others, regardless of price. Although they would probably be unaffected running over sharp pieces of metal, a little duct tape ensures that won’t ever be an issue. After discovering Gorilla brand duct tape, that’s all I ever use.

This cable works for me and it has a jacket with a plastic mesh that seems quite durable.Installing it with bare hands resulted in a few minor rope burns so the cable jacket is at least more durable than my skin.It's a bit stiff and you have to uncoil it to remove the twist in the cable before installing but that's good since it's fiber optic, it will prevent the fibers from twisting or kicking.For me it transmits my audio from an LCD TV to a converter box that gives me line level stereo out to my sound mixer board.I'm not a golden ear but so far it sounds fine although I'm sure any audio defects are from the converter box, not the cable.

This product is well made and durable. It connects to the ports snugly and seems like it won't easily come out. It moves those 1s and 0s without any audio dropout. No complaints and the price is right!

This is a good cable, and let's face it - it looks nice and that's the main point here. I don't think the sound changes at all when you use a fat or a skinny optical cable. The metal ends are nice, but they printed the brand name on the *side* instead of the top. So every time I have to plug this back in, I have to carefully examine the slightly D-shaped tip to see which way is up. And that D-shaped tip is plastic, so I don't want to jam it in the wrong way. As for the "inflexible" part, the cable is kind of stiff, so it doesn't want to lay neatly behind the components. It sticks up the way it wants to stick up. Overall, though, a nice cable.

Já tive cabos óticos que se romperam com o tempo. Este parece ser bem durável. A camada de nylon externa parece ser muito eficaz em evitar dobras.

Es un excelente cable. Algo pesado y difícil de acomodar, debes de maniobrar todo el cable hasta que quede en la posición deseada antes de poder conectarlo. Una vez conectado, la conexión es fuerte, eso me gustó, otros cables se conectaban con un pequeño click, pero este parece que se muerde con ganas al aparato.La calidad de transmisión también es excelente. El que sea óptico no quiere decir que no aplica, ya que he tenido otros cables muy sencillos donde si se escucha el sonido muy apagado y sin frecuencias bajas, no se a que se deba, pero en mi experiencia si importa la calidad del cable en la transmisión óptica.

So, it is a digital interface cable, as in, it carries a digital signal and so it doesn't really matter how good a cable it is, it either works or it doesn't, don't let anyone tell you otherwise. A cable for a couple of pounds would work as well as this would but damn,it wouldn't look as good as this one does. It screams money and a person who knows what they are doing, if lying to your friends matters to you as much as it does to me, this is the cable for you. It is heavy and quality
