tl,dr: Turned out to be a single use, non-cleanable product with poor instructions - returned for refundPoor buffing ball - it allows for disassembly, facilitating cleaning the unit. However, the only instructions are very poor, making disassembly/reassembly a very long effort. The central metal shaft is extremely difficult to unscrew from the ball head. I ended up stripping the brass threads, even when being very careful.

I bought this to be able to easily and quickly clean our gloss black cast iron sink. This thing did a fantastic job and held together very well.

Very useful tool.
