You get more than you pay for
I was looking for something portable and after watching a lot of YouTube videos I ran across this. For the price, you really can't beat it. I hooked this up to a Harley Benton 1x12 with a vintage 30 in it and I love the sound. A very easy rig to move around. I also did some comparison recordings so I could hear the tone without trying to play and evaluate at the same time.My first recording setup was an sm57 on the HB cab with a Fortin 33 in front of the amp. The second was going direct in using an IR from Kristian Khol for silent recording. Both ways produced great results for such an inexpensive head. I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants something flexible and light. Being able to record silently is great and is needed if you are in an apartment or shared residence or if you are recording late at night and don't have a sound proof studio to work in.In all, there is no reason to not buy this. The Zombie 2 has fixed the issues with the original Zombie (single set of controls, no footswitch) and I have already recommended it to a bunch of people looking for an inexpensive alternative to larger tube amps.

Gain, gain and... GAIN
TOO MUCH GAINI get it. I get what this amp is about. Unfortunately its relatively useless. First, waaaay too much bass at any reasonable volume. The tone is scooped like a ditch and even on a 1x10, with the tone dimed out, palm mutes will rattle your teeth. An EQ in the loop does help a lot. The gain structure is thick and fine grained, but theres more of it, than is useful. For any practical application, you'll never turn the gain past noon; and probably not past 10 o'clock. The clean channel is flat and dead. A screamer into the front will liven it up a little, but overall, this amp will be a disappotment to anyone expecting a 'tube amp' experience. Its nothing you cant get from a good solid state combo.LOUDThis thing is savagely loud. Your drummer will be yelling at you to turn it down. However, as a single stage/single tube preamp and 20w solid state power amp, it has no headroom at all. Turning the volume past about 10oclock, it begins to lose all of its dynamics and character. It becomes flat, dead and just gets LOUD.I mean, it gets 3 stars for being what it claims to be, but in final analysis, its just a distortion box, with no other application. I wanted to love it, but I think the Meteor is a much better amp all around, especially if you're looking for tube amp dynamics and clean tones. Trust me when I say, the extra gain that this model tempts you with, is wildly excessive and not worth buying this amp for. That said, it does do a surprisingly good job of sounding like a 'MB', at low volumes. Mic'd up for recording, with some EQ and and screamer, its a solid substitute for an amp that costs nearly 10x as much.

Nu Metal Tone out of the box
I grew up listening to the early 2000's rock, and the MB style amps seemed to dominate that period. I had previously used a Boss Katana, and I bought a lot of different distortion and overdrive pedals to try and get the right tone. With this Joyo Zombie, I switched to the Gain channel with the footswitch (a must if you ask me), and instantly got the sound I was looking for. I'm running this into a custom 1x12 cab I made with a Celestion Type A, and a closed back. It powers the speaker very easily, and can get really loud if you desire. I almost want to make or get an attenuator to really dial in the volume but I can still get some nice bedroom levels with a good sound as well. Having an effects loop is really nice, coming from the Boss Kanata 50 where all my pedals were going straight in the front. This might not be the amp for everyone, but for any hobbyists like me out there that want the early 2000's tone, you can't go wrong with this amp.

Great Amp!
This is a great sounding amp and the value is almost mind blowing. I seen a lot of youtube videos talking about how great this amp sounds and kept asking myself how great could it really sound for $190. Well it's awesome. This is the best value I've ever spent for an amplifier or effect pedal. I'm not a typical user, I have lots of pedals that cost more than this amp. Do yourself a favor and if you are thinking about buying this amp, DO IT!I bought this as a practice amp. I have a Bogner Uberschall, a Mesa Boogie Mark IV and Mark V, a Peavey Invective and a Katana 100 Head. Since I've bought this amp I use it more than any other amp. I am plugging this into a Bogner 4X12 cab and I run a Boss EQ-200 in the front and back of this amp. It's a great 2 channel amp and sounds great without all the pedals I run into it. It's got a killer sound and with it being 20 watts it's more than loud enough for what I am using it for.The clean channel is great and takes pedals really well. The distortion channel really reminds me of a Mesa Rectifier. It comes with a foot switch for channel switching. All you need is a great set of headphones or a decent cabinet to hook it up too.
