Very nice looking and functional
I needed a vent cover to replace the old one on outside wall of my house for the bathroom exhaust fans. I had a large wasps nest in my old one so wanted one with a screen. This one was perfect. Not only the right size but looks awesome. Most were just plain white. This one is a nice looking gray and the screws are hidden. I did put a little glue on the screen just to make sure it stays in place but I am very pleased. It looks great on the house and will prevent insects from getting in. I don’t think this would work well for a dryer vent because of the lint that may clog up the screen.

Looks good. Decent value.
Excellent looking product from the outside of the home. Was easy to install. Does seem a little flimsy... wish it was metal. I hope it lasts a couple years. One thing that is a major drawback is the screen on the inside gets covered with lint. That makes the screen pretty useless, so I had to remove it.

Flaps stuck until trimmed
This cover is designed to slip inside a standard dryer vent. But when I installed mine, it put just enough pressure on the cover to prevent the flaps from opening. I had to take each flap off and trim it just slightly on either end before it would work correctly. Other than that it works great.

Does not operate properly, louvers stick open
I use this vent for a bathroom exhaust fan and a dryer vent. Most of the time, some of the little louvers will not close down properly. I would not recommend this product.

Will not buy again
This was shipped to me in an envelope with no padding and (of course) it was broken. I don't think it would've lasted long after being attached to the dryer vent. The plastic of this vent felt very cheap. Will not purchase this item again

Good Looking Dryer Vent
Good look, easy to install. I used this for a sidewall vent for a bathroom.

Remove the mesh
The mesh filter will 100% fill up with lint and block your duct within a couple months. You're best off just removing it (which is easily done) and letting the louvered flaps handle things. Other than that, works fine.

Looks and works great but be careful
Installed as a dryer vent. Beware that there is a filter in this unit that will eventually clog. If using for a dryer vent you should definitely rip it out as it removes easily and should not be left in place for this type of application
