SnugFleece Imperial Wool Pillow Sham (1-1/4" Pile) - Queen

I bought 6 of these in Queen size, for an unusual use. I washed them in hot water on the extended heavy duty cycle in my washing machine, using laundry detergent and Simple Solutions enzyme wash to neutralize the slight natural lanolin scent in the wool, then dried on hot in the dryer. They came out exactly as I wanted - the wool felted up tight like boiled wool, spongy and cushiony. Then I folded them in half, and used them as sleeping pads for my elderly rescue cats to keep them warm and to ease their arthritis.My cats are very comfortable and happy and so am I. Unusual use I know. However, that these excellently constructed pillowcases not only survived this treatment, but also my cats daily use, speaks to their high quality and excellent workmanship. I very highly recommend, for whatever use you wish. They are fantastic!

Exactly what I expected. I put it over a buckwheat pillow. This helped make the pillow a little softer. The sham is warmer than I expected, but I don't feel it has caused me to over heat. I use this pillow/sham combination on a latex mattress with a wool topper and pad.

One of the finest quality sheepskin products I've ever purchased, and I've purchased quite a few. Mitigates the heat of my foam pillow and creates a great cushion around it-highly recommend.

Best product in the world! Like none other! Never gets wet with sweat. Stays fresh and beautiful. And, feels like falling asleep on a momma cat.

Best pillow ever it makes my pillow so comfortable

I have been looking at Snugfleece products for a long time. I decided to buy a pillow sham first to see how I would like it. I like all of my bedding to be very soft and comfortable. While I find the pillow sham is the right thickness, the wool is a bit more coarse and itchy than I expected.

With the snug fleece mattress cover, these really improved my night's rest.Real fleece (woven somehow into a polyester washable backing),forms the pillow cover,with the back side being cotton.Certainly worth the investment to me.
