I ordered the kit as a simple way of getting several jig heads and plastic bodies.I had fished the Grand River, near Lansing, Michigan for Small Mouth bass in July 2023. I talked my wife into a guided float trip and the guide outfitted her with an open face spinning rod and a Ned Rig.My wife, with little experience out fished my fly rod efforts with streamer flies, about 2 fish to every one I caught. Over the course of the day she caught over 50 Small Mouth.That was the second time on the same stretch of river that a less experienced angle had beaten my catch rate substantially.I ordered the kit and tried it out on light spinning tackle on an inland lake. I caught between 15 and 20 largemouth bass in under two hours.

The information included in the small two page booklet, includes no illustrations and can easily be found online.The fishing lure and terminal tackle rate a 5 star but the price is a 3 star price, so I split the difference.

I cannot stress enough that you need this in your tackle box. Over the course of the summer I have had several outings in which I caught 10-12 bass. My first trip using this bait I caught 7 bass in my first 12 casts. Now mind you that I fish a small private "catch and release" lake, but I have fished that lake many times and would net 1 or 2 fish. I would have to guess that I have caught in the neighborhood of 75 bass so far and today is July 11th. This is hands down the single most effective bait that I have ever used. No fish tales here boys, this is the real deal. It is pricey, but it is worth every penny. I have gone through 3 Jig heads and five TRD baits thus far. That is 12 bass per bait... very durable. This has to be used on an ultralight set up to achieve the proper action. Good luck guys.

I thought the written guide was more like a book but it was only 1 cardboard page, I was disappointed in that for the money that I paid the products provided were fine I'm not sure it was worth the 15 close to $16. The information provided was accurate and correct I would have liked to have a little more of it. I have not had a chance to use the products yet but what I did receive is one pack of Ned plastics and one pack of Ned rig jig heads for my money and the cardboard one page guide. Which I did enjoy reading but had thought that would be more. guide.

I love Zman baits. This is my second kit and had order quite others. I only gave a four stars because of the price and because since they are made out of elastic, they melt easy if left out in the heat. Will buy again and recommend it, I have catch many bass since using it.
