The Boyfriend Effect as a bookstagram made me do it/impulse/mood reading buy for me at the weekend. I haven’t read much from @kendallryan1 and the titles I have read were a while ago. I enjoyed this one so much I preordered the next in the series straight after finishing book one! ⁣⁣The Boyfriend Effect is all about Hayes and Maren. Hayes wants to commit but can’t seem to find the girl he wants to commit to and Maren has a scarred heart from her past and a massive crush she’s nursed for a long time. A crush on Hayes that is. ⁣⁣This is a friends to lovers/brother’s best friend romance. It’s a speedy reading coming in at 200 pages so perfect to devour over the course of an afternoon - and that’s just what I did! As well as the love story between the main characters there’s a sweet side story with Hayes’ grandmother too. ⁣⁣The Frisky Business series is going to focus on the owners of the eponymous adult toy store owned by Hayes and his four friends. The next in the series is about Wolfie and Penelope. I love it when a series focuses on characters that are interwoven into each story throughout so if that sounds like it’s for you be sure to check this one out!

Another amazing book from Kendall Ryan. From the minute I picked it up I couldn't put it down until I was finished, read it in one sitting. Loved it!

A good story with a good mix of love and friendship looking forward to reading each one and getting to know who wins they're hearts
