I can understand why this is always top search for aftermarket dashesresults for aftermarket dashes
My bike: 1999 KTM LC4 640In my experience, this had made riding more enjoyable. I hate having to look at the little needle go up to a super small number and try and guess how fast exactly I am going. This really makes it easy to view your speed. My bike didn't have a tachometer before, that was nice to get! I have seen people getting issues with the red wire wire wrapped around the ignition coil, mine worked 1st try. 5 wraps tightly wrapped around the coil with electrical tape over it, worked perfectly with default settings.Since I have a dual sport I needed to get the extra dash piece that fits around it. This is extremely overpriced. 50 dollars for a plastic rim and some colored indicator pieces, you dont need their wiring harness or anything, stock bulbs pop right in in my case. But it looks really good and works great. No need to wire in diode kits anywhere unless you are going to led turn signals from halogen to prevent back feeding or going from seperate turn signal indicators to a shared light for both indicators. It would be nice if a 1amp fuse came with it maybe even a from the factory wired in 1amp fuse/fuse holder was already wired into the positive line for the 12v battery wire. It was easy to wire a fuse holder and a fuse in line, but just a hassle as NOWHERE carried a 1amp fuse around my area, so I had to order them in. Just a hassle when you're paying over 100 dollars for this, dont think it could really add that much cost to manufacture in. Example of a product that did this is the Battery Tender. The only thing I have not tried is the head temperature indication. I have a liquid cooled bike, and I already have an overheat temperature light, so I didn't bother cutting into my coolant lines to fit the sensor. Probably will once I order some new coolant lines and coolant for the bike.Overall very good. Fast shipping for the computer itself. Dash kit took a bit, but that's a different order. This one was great, works amazing just know how to do some basic wiring if you're connecting to 12v battery or into the ignition circuit etc.

Absolutely awesome!
Super excellent! Just finished installing this unit on my 2005 Yamaha WR450F. It's a very slick device! and relatively easy to install if you're familiar with vehicle wiring. The instructions are very good and well laid out. I definitely recommend get one of these if you're trying to make a decision. I was able to get this installed in about 2 hours with assistance. Every feature operates as advertised. I now know everything I need to about how my scoot is operating! Highly recommend!

Great while it works
I mounted this on my 2018 yz450fx. Followed installation manual step by step. Everything worked flawlessly for the first ride. Last weekend I went on a second ride and noticed while riding the speedometer stopped working. Since being back home ive re checked my installation, wires, connections, the rotor magnetic bolt, the sensor, grounds, reset and entered settings again. Nothing is registering for the speedometer through the sensor, while everything else still works. Its my first Trailtech product, maybe my last. I possibly just got a lemon? Currently still waiting for trailtech to respond to me.

some epoxy overnight and it was good to go
Installed on a Ninja EX250F.Temperature sensor screws right into the stock one. Power can be plugged into the cabling from the original instrument cluster, or can be wired directly to the battery. The magnetic speedometer sensor is relatively straightforward to install; some epoxy overnight and it was good to go. I knocked off a star for the tach. I cannot get it to settle in properly using the included tachometer wire. Trawling on the internet, it seems a tachometer wire with the correct resistance for the EX250F must be ordered, and plugged into the wiring for the original tachometer. The readout is crisp and clear, especially with the backlight. As far as I can tell, the speedometer is relatively accurate. This unit features an ambient temperature, engine temp, speedometer (meters or miles), trip meter (re settable), odometer (cannot be reset), clock, trip timer. As for mounting, there is no straightforward way of mounting it on an EX250F. I myself designed and 3d printed a custom mount to attach it to the bike. Solid little unit, would buy again.

One of the best accessories fitted to my bike
Works as advertised. Easy to fix. Easy to use. Provides you with a wealth of information about your dirt bike. Great piece of kit if you are homologating your dirt bike for on-road use. Easily readable day or night. I am very pleased with this.
