Awesome tool box.
Well made, exactly as described. Will fit on rear part of truck roof rack for tools that won't fit in truck. (39" wide rack on Suburban). Nice heavy rubber seal on box gives confidence with whatever weather situation.

Not bad
Good little box for the cost. However the lock is terrible. I use it as an outdoor storage box on my overlander and it might keep someone walking by testing if it’s locked away but anyone who spends more than 2 mins trying to get it open will. Bottom of the box is pretty flimsy so you can’t torque the mounting bolts too tight, but over all not bad.

Not that great of a product for the price!!!
These Boxes have potential, they are sturdy and look great. The BAD!Ordering these boxes was month long process, for whatever reason once they realized they had the order it took a month just to get a shipping date, then you can wait another week or so to receive the box. I will say the packaging was very well done.Second.Why have a water-seal gasket around the lid and have a handle/latch that leaks like a sieve! Very disappointing. I would like to see the handle sealed as well, not waterproof but just sealed so water can't easily find its way into the box. The quality of the latch is very flimsy and should be made out of higher quality metals and parts. My boxes did not latch, they kept popping open. Why have a lockable latch on a box that already easily just pops open. Over-all I would like to see a little more thought put into the latch quality and water resistance features. For the price I paid for 2 I feel like I got ripped off!

An awesome ATV box with so many issues. Consider it a DIY ATV box starting point.
This box has so much potential but needed much more work to achieve it.So lets start with the good. Pretty decent thickness diamond plate aluminum, matched its stated dimensions, great size, beveled top, superior gasket, piston opener, and a decent paint job.Having said that, lets move onto all the issues. First off I noticed the handle was installed incorrectly w/ the lock portion bending the front metal which would leak like crazy (a giant gaping opening around it). I had to drill out the rivets, remove the handle and straighten the metal back out flat and after doing so replace the handle in the correct position using my own hardware. This is simply unacceptable, if I wasn't willing to perform this fix, it would have gone back on that alone.Next issue, the latch itself. Do not count on it staying shut. The first instance of a surprise pop open was at 55 mph while my ATV was in the trailer. This is literally 5 minutes on the road and it happened. Luckily I saw it happen in my rear-view mirror and immediately pulled over. Being decent metal, I was impressed it did not damage the lid, and was able to recover one of my riding gloves. The second instance was upon reaching my destination. I unloaded my bike and hit the trail. I was about 30 second in when the rider behind me caught it popping open AGAIN! This time we lost a hat and sunglasses forever (didn't notice them missing at the time, it wasn't until later). At this point I had to use a bungee cord to make sure it stayed shut so I could ride the rest of the day. This was its first outing and really was frustrating. Once I got home I added a draw latch at the far left and right side of the front, this cured the undesirable auto pop open.Outlaw Racing or whoever makes this product should really bump up their QC a notch. The defective latch being installed incorrectly should have been a red flag since you could look inside the box through the latch when it was closed it was so bad.Overall I'm happy now that I have had lots of project time with my box and its as solid as a brick outhouse with all the upgraded latching and what not. Also the seal on it is really good and no water or dust has snuck in. Another thing I did was to line the bottom and sides in beige carpet to cut down on the banging around as I rip around on my quad. So there you have it, this box will be a mixed bag for the daring!
