Terrible quality, but it gets the job done I guess
Physical Quality/Design I could probably snap the entire phone in half without difficulty, the buttons rub off significantly after about six months of use. Wish SO, SO much that it had at least volume buttons on the side. The screen has accumulated particles of dust inside it.OS and Usability Runs android v8 which is pretty cool, actually processes pretty quick. Can load a wide range of music, pictures, and videos...unfortunately it does not have full screen mode. The "R9" predictive text feature is one of the worst predictive texts that I've ever used, but is usable once you get used to it.Apps Obviously you can't install your own apps onto this phone (I've tried via apk files), but what about the built in ones? Has an ugly looking calculator that works fine. Stopwatch, timer, and alarm with decent features. World clock that I suppose is all right. File management is kinda glitchy. Texting app is actually good except could use some emojis built in, it can receive them. Camera is really simple and has almost no features, videos are worthless; settings say it has EIS (Electronic Image Stabilization)?? Like what on earth? Music Player is nearly worthless as well, with no features but shuffle all and play all. FM radio isn't too bad and can even record, needs wired earbuds to use it.Others Never got WiFi calling or texting to work. Never got an external keyboard to work. Memory is half decent at 8gb internal, supports sd card up to 64gb. Like how it shows exact battery percentage, and battery life is about two days.Overall I think it would be worth more like $50, so rather high priced for the general quality of it. It is okay if you are trying to break free from the internet of keep your kids from it, or if you just want a simple phone- it is that. Rather unfortunately there aren't really very many options like it or I wouldn't recommend it. Also the Jethro branded case is expensive junk, just go get one for like $7 at Walmart if you want one lol. Conclusion It works, you can call/text with it, never had any major bugs in almost three years of having it, just wish they had put more work into actually making something that, to the touch, does not feel like absolute junk.

Did not work at my location.
Purchased it as a back up emergency phone for the house. Even though the small town in NE Az has 5G, no service at our location.

Phone is just what it is advertised to do.
My 12 year old granddaughter has a habit of getting into things on the internet that she should not be into. We wanted her to have a phone for emergency contact and so she could talk to her friends, but no internet access. This phone fits the bill.

Jethro is a very basic phone for basic needs - Just what I wanted
I purchased the Jethro phone and cheapest/basic plan for my 80 year old mom to use as a backup phone. There are a number of phone options for the elderly, such as Jitterbug, but the plans are often WAY more than most elderly people need. As my mom is only using this phone when she goes out shopping, for walks, or as a backup when her electric or hearing impaired land-line phone is down, she doesn't need more than the smallest 150/min-$5/month topoff plan. What's nice is I setup the numbers and control the plan and login for her. I also liked the "EMERGENCY" button on the back of this phone, which I setup to dial 911 and my number if pushed. The Jethro phone also came with a cradle for charging so she can see who calls. She still has some trouble with the concept of using a mobile phone at times, but honestly, it's hard to find a much easier or cheaper option than this. Why pay for what you don't use? Thanks Jethro for making a viable option for the elderly and their kids who want to keep an eye on them. So far, I 've really happy she has this.

Stopped sending & receiving calls
I thought this was a great phone for my 92 year old mother who just wanted a phone and nothing else. She had a cheap flip phone but had trouble inserting the charging cord correctly. This phone has a charging cradle and it worked fine until now. It no longer will send or receive calls. I contacted Jethro and her carrier (Consumer Cellular). Jethro said to do a factory reset, which I did and still nothing. So this phone goes into the box with all the other failed phones and my search continues.

Senior friendly?
Operates like a flip phone. Not the simplest to use. Part or most of the issue is with 90+ years of mind wear not being able to grasp concepts.
