Henke's Med-Math: Dosage Calculation, Preparation, and Administration

I rented this Henke’s Med- Math: Dosage Calculation, Preparation and Administration for wife as she was starting her freshman year in nursing school. She was really happy with the book as she says that she aced her first examination so well that the professor asked her to show her classmates how she did it. She is naturally good at math, coupled with a great written textbook helped her to excel. She says she likes how each chapter of the book illustrated and displayed dosage calculations, drug administration and how to problem solve dosage issues. She says what she likes best about this textbook is the way the writer added Calculations in Action animations to capture and visual illustrations to show how to find solutions to the problems. She is a visual learner and she appreciates this book’s approaches in dealing with dosage calculations. She says it is a must have textbook for every nursing student.

I really like this book. It has 3 different ways to work each problem. Includes dimensional analysis, ratio and proportion, and formula method. Detailed step by step instructions to help you learn and understand how to solve med math for nursing problems. Also has plenty of practice problems with the answers on a separate page so you can assess how well you're learning.

Great condition used for nursing class.

Book is kinda scattered..have to do lots of page flipping to see examples and answers to practice items. Some pages in the exercises do not match the actual pages you are supposed to refer back to in the chapter. I guess just a mistake in printing. Overall a good pharm book.
