WixGear Note 5 Holster, Shell Holster Combo Case for Samsung Galaxy Note 5 with Stand & Belt Clip - Fits At&t, Verizon, T-Mobile & Sprint - Black

Unintentionally I promise you, I tested the drop protection of this WizGear case almost as soon as I took it out of the box. Since I'm writing this on my Note 5, it obviously passed the test!I bought this to replace the first case I bought, an SGM Hybrid Dual Layer case & holster. The SGM is undoubtedly rugged and it provides awesome protection but its size is a huge detriment. Also, the spring clip on the holster is prone to locking open which leads to even more drops. With the loss of feeling in my fingers getting ever more pronounced, more drops of my new phone is absolutely the last thing I need.I've had the WizGear case for nearly a week and I'm really pleased with it. The Pros definitely outnumber the Con (yes, I intended to use the singular).PROS:-Very slim and low profile-Easily slides into my back pocket (That was impossible with the SGM)-Easy access to the MicroUSB port so I'm able to use my MicroSD card reader to transfer files - something else I could not do with the SGM-Case has enough texture so it's not likely to slip-So far, the protection it provides is adequate-Even with heavy winter gloves on, the buttons on the side of my phone work fine.-I only discovered this yesterday, but the belt clip on the holster also doubles as a kickstand. Maybe that was listed in the features and I just missed it but, nonetheless, that was quite a nice touch, I thought.CONS:-As I mentioned previously, I have only one complaint about the WizGear case. It fits just a little too snugly in the holster. That sometimes requires me to pull the whole thing off to remove the phone using both hands. Not sure if there's any way to correct that. Can't think of any way to lubricate the case that would not wind up on my hands and any kind of sanding or filing down the surfaces would ruin the case and/or holster.Aside from that one gripe, I'm exceptionally happy with this purchase. The WizGear case fulfilled, even exceeded, my expectations. And it did so at a very attractive price!

My previous three case and holster combos were of this same style. I prefer this style because of how it protects my phone and the ease of use, I can unholster and holster my phone one handed with no problem. When I received my Wizgear the first thing I noticed was the material it's made of is a bit thicker than the previous three that I've owned. Also on the case itself the material raps further around the top and bottom of the phone than my other cases did giving it added protection. The little pull out stand on the back of the case is very easy to use also. Oh and the thumb groove on the belt clip might not seem like much but it's a nice little feature helps get a grip, none of my other holsters had that groove. Overall out of the four that I've had this one is by far the best. Thanks Wizgear for a quality product at a good value.

I just received it today and so far so good. It fits well, seems tough, should protect well. It looks kind of chunky, but that's due to the Note5's shape. I compared it with my S3 case which I thought was significantly thinner, but measurements don't lie- the more squarish lines of this make it look thicker than it actually is. One nit is I wish there was no tab sticking out at the bottom of the holster to "hold" the phone in the holster. The lip across the bottom is more than sufficient to hold it, and instead of reaching down and naturally grabbing it at the bottom middle, I have to put one or two fingers on either side of the tab. Once I've gotten the routine down it shouldn't be a problem, but right now it makes grabbing the phone harder than it should be. A second nit is that the clip rotates a bit too easily.The proof is in the longevity. My previous Aduro case, which I loved (and isn't available for the Note5), over a period of three years became looser and allowed the phone to fall out. More than once. And the screen cracked. If this stays "tight' for two years I'll be happy. Hopefully, I'll get a new one then instead of risking a fall for my phone.

Case fits like a glove. Firm fit all the way around. Easy access to the s pen and the grippie texture to it. Great case for watching content on this great looks screen. Both the case and the clip itself can be used as a kickstand. Button are easy to click to have a good response with this case. I've noticed that some cases cutouts are not that good especially with the camera cutout to the point where the flash would kick back light on the camera and have a glare to the pics. Not this one!!!!! Cutouts are precise and exact and that gets 5 stars!!!! You gonna love this case!!!

This is the best cover/holster I have ever owned. I have had lots of phones and lots of various holsters. This is by far the most durable holster I have owned. Yes I have broken a few but it's always been my fault. My job requires I walk in a very narrow space and if I catch the holster just right, it will break. I used to go through a holster every month with the past product. This holster requires that I hit it really hard to break it. Really, by far, the most durable I have ever found. I love it and would highly recommend this product. Also the case is thin enough to charge my phone through the wireless charger - another huge plus.

It works really well when it is working, but then the problem is that it breaks too easily.I have only been using it for about 3.5 months, which is a really short amount of time, and while closing the back support, one of its corners broke off (see photo for better description). Now it is just an inconvenience using it.For something that has to be opened and closed several times a day everyday, the back support really shouldn't be breaking off this easily.Overall: disappointing purchase.

Good product, does exactly what I need. But the holster clip breaks after about 9 months of use.This is my third purchase of this product.

Not very good looking. The stand broke within a week of use. Wouldnt recommend this case if u plan on using the stand feature. Would of held up better if the stand part of it had metal on part that glides back n forth when u pull out thd stand.
