The most protective case series I've found *update*
OK, so it's big...and heavy...and says LoveMei imprinted on the bezel.. With that said, it is in a completely separate division insofar as actual protection for your phone. I have used these on my last 3 note phones (3,8,now ultra20). "Surely other cases have improved their game by now" I thought...so I ordered 5 cases. OTTERBOX pro Defender, pelican, and two off brand ones that looked promising. Tried them all for fit & general impressions. The others are fine if you are a housespouse or a businessperson. If you are doing standard "heavy use" then conventional wisdom holds, the Otterbox pro defender is reasonable safety. If, on the other hand, you are actually at risk of breaking your phone? This unit wins, hands down. Of special import to those of us with glass back phones is the fact that the case doesn't flex nearly as much so you are less likely to shatter the back glass inside the case and not know until your camera stops working (lost 2x note10 that way in Otterbox Pro Defender cases). A very similar unit is marketed by punkcase, but the fitment and build quality on the Love Mei is noticeably superior (yes, I a/b compared the two as part of my decision process). It is big. So is a tank. The comparison is worthy.*update*Last weekend I was driving my truck (e350 box truck), pulling a trailer down a winding highway in the hills of southern Indiana (hwy 135 just north of Nashville to be specific). Beautiful day, windows down, phone in a holder close to the A pillar, being a digital navigator. As I cruise through a turn at 60MPH...eek! The phone sails out the window.I screeched to a stop, ran back to find it on the opposite side of the road. Case looks pretty damn beat, corners are quite bent, one screw is missing, but...it is honestly still basically intact.Phone inside is unscathed. Not a scratch. Not a chip or crack in the screen. Perfect. As far as structurally and insofar as protectiveness, this case though a bit bent, is still capable.I will retire it, and order another anyway.Maybe this one will hand on the wall in my garage, it earned it.

My all time favorite case for any phone!
I have used this kind of case from Love Mei for 3 different phones. I absolutely love this case. It works very well for protecting the phone.I also really love the style of the case. I think it looks nice, but that's a matter of taste. The case does make your phone much larger and heavier, just be aware of that. I already have a big phone, so it's almost silly, but I'm a very large man, so it fits just fine for me.Some people complain about the screws coming out... That does happen, but you have to realize that if they included lock washers or lock-tite or something like that, it would be quite hard to remove the phone later, if you need to. In that case you just have to be aware and tighten them occasionally with one of the two tools they give you for it (or just use your own hex key). You can also do like I did and add a little rubber cement onto the threads of the screws and they don't wiggle out.Love this case, and will always be using this style and brand for my phones as long as they make it!

Tough as nails, but HUUUUGE!
Do you need a case that could survive a nuclear explosion? Are your hands as big as Andre the Giant?Do you want to commit aggravated assault using your mobile device?THEN THIS IS THE CASE FOR YOU!!!This case was clearly engineered with protection in mind, with relatively little concern for overall footprint. Seriously, this thing is HUGE and heavy. The picture above compares it from left to right to the Otterbox Commuter series and the bare Note 20 Ultra. In terms of size, it adds roughly 1/2" width to the bezel on all sides, and I'd say the case makes the device roughly 3/4" thick at the thickest part. In terms of weight, it makes the device about twice the weight of the bare phone. If you like tight pants, or don't have gorilla hands, this case might not be for you, in terms of comfort. I'd recommend adding something like a pop socket to help with one-handed use, because if you drop this thing on your face while laying in bed, it just might make you into a hashtag. It does, however, come with a wrist strap which may end up being an unforeseen lifesaver.EDIT: Turns out, a popsocket absolutely will NOT stick to the exposed rubber material present on the majority of the back of the case, even if you thoroughly clean the area with alcohol. It will, however, stick quite well to the metal portion next to the camera, which is relatively comfortable, but mildly annoying for people who enjoy symmetry,That said, I doubt I've ever seen a commercial phone case quite this sturdy. The rubber base wraps around the phone snugly and is dummy thicc. All the edges are part of the rubber base, as well. This is reinforced by the metal front and back plates, held in by 6 small hex-bolts. This means no friction mounts, so the case form-fits to the phone incredibly well, and the tolerances appear extremely tight. It's clearly designed to take serious impacts, and I wouldn't be surprised if a phone emerged relatively unscathed after being dropped out a car window at interstate speeds. The side buttons are raised, and feel satisfying to press, far better than the buttons on the Otterbox Commuter.Other than the size and weight, my only complaint is the flaps for the charging port and S-pen are held on with a concerningly thin rubber hinge, which is odd, considering how large and thick the flaps are, themselves. I wouldn't be surprised if these hinges are the biggest point of failure with this case. But if you absolutely positively need a bulletproof phone case, and dislike using screen protectors, this thing will absolutely do the job.
