Reasonable price for a decent desk chair.
I also have the other popular COMHOMA chair (URL below) so I shall compare them; it will be referenced (C1) in the text.https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0829R19YZ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1What I like about this chair (C2) is:1. it's lightweight and easily moved over all surfaces (as is C1).2. the seat is quite comfortable though a little narrower (0.5 inch), thinner but softer than (C1) which has a firmer seat.3. the padded armrests fold back out of the way (as do C1).Observations about both chairs:4. they are very easy to assemble.5. the chairs use the same base and the same gas lift piston.6. the chairs are supplied with spare bolts & washers.7. there's no lumbar support on either chair and that suits me.8. this (C2) chair appears marginally more robust than (C1) due to the arrangement of the seat-to-back connection. What I dislike about this chair (C2) is:9. NOTHING specifically - but note point 10 below.(Unlike (C1) the armrests in this chair are solid (no gap in the plastic support) under the padding that I think is preferable.)What I dislike about both chairs is:10. they use only an 8" gas lift piston that gives only about 4" of height increase that's too low for my 6' frame especially when when the PC screen is on a raised platform on the desk. So I replaced both pistons from BiMi.It's a pity that COMHOMA don't offer a piston length selection especially as the difference is only a few pounds, but I was aware of the likelihood of this and the chairs are still good value overall. Besides I have renewed an otherwise constantly sinking old chair with one of the now spare pistons. So which chair do I prefer? I really cannot choose, both are comfortable enough for long term use; I can only hope my comments help someone.ADDENDUM: As this is my second review of these two chairs I now benefit from having tried both over the last month. So do I now have a preference? Yes I do; it's this one! Why?:11. I like the robustness of the seat to back arrangement.12. the slightly softer seat.13. the armrests; otherwise the little ones and their inquisitive fingers is worrisome. We needed to replace two chairs in our study and couldn't decide our preference so we had one of each and we are both pleased we did that. And it's good to have a change of seat occasionally. Both these chairs are excellent value. I can only hope my comments help someone.

Very pleased with this purchase, great value
Decided to by an ergonomic office chair after I started to get lower back ache from sitting on the bed for too long with (obviously), no back support. I haven't got much money atm, so had to choose from the budget end of the market & rely on the existing customer reviews on Amazon...and I'm actually really pleased with the result. This chair is a great price. And it has a wide, comfy seat - I'm just over 6ft tall, and 13.5 stone, and it's still really spacious on the backside. The arms can pull back to the vertical if you want, and after a few twists of the knob under the base of the chair I'm able to increase the rigidity of the back, so that the recline feature is stiffer (which is what I prefer). Note that you can't adjust the height of the back up & down, but that's not an issue for me, I find the back to be supportive, forgiving & v comfy regardless. Like I said, I'm delighted :0)

So good for the price
Love this chair. I just wanted a non-fussy, black, wheelie office chair. The seat is really comfy, the back is also comfy. I love the reclining option as I have a tendency to lean back with my feet up on the desk while I work! It was really easy to put together (although I did need a hammer to help me "slot" parts of the legs together). All in all - well worth the price and I'm very happy.

Not the best
Upright plastic support snapped making the chair practically unusable. Comfortable when it was in one piece.

An idiot can assemble it.......
I just received this chair having ordered it a few days ago. All nicely packaged in pieces clearly marked according to the instruction sheet with the screws packaged the same so I knew where everything went. I have never assembled anything in my life and I live with my husband and son who I usually turn to, to put thngs together. Somehow I thought I would do this myself and even though the instructions recommend two people put it together, I did it myself, alone, every bit. I feel quite triumphant. It's comfy, looks good and only time will tell as I use it more and more whether it is supportive enough. But for now, I am very pleased with the product. I think it would be nice if you could raise the back a bit but you can raise and lower the seat height itself. The armrests only lift up and I don't think you can adjust their height. For the price, it does exactly what it says on the tin.

Not high enough
Although the seat feels comfortable and soft, the chair doesn’t go high enough for me to sit comfortable at a regular desk. The image with the chair’s measurements shows the height to be just over 56cm (shown in inches) but in fact this is barely 52 cm. Unfortunately, this means that my wrist is bent too much when using the mouse at my desk. For the past week I’ve had numbness and tingling in my right hand and this is alleviated when I use the mouse from a higher position. So I now had to spend money on a wrist brace and will have to buy another chair. I know that I can, in theory, return this chair but I obviously I no longer have the box It arrived in, plus I’d have to take it all apart. Really disappointed as £80 if not that cheap, I have used cheaper chairs in the past and didn’t have this issue.By the way, I’m using a standard height desk and I’m 167 cm tall, so not short either
