My Kid Actually Read It
I found this book on a list of suggested summer reading for middle school kids. My son (about to start 6th) not only read it in 3 days, he actually talked about it with me. That probably doesn't sound like a big deal. But this is my slacker youngest child who normally refuses to read anything beyond captions on YouTube.

JS is always a delight!
Josh Sundquist is wholesome and funny in all his content, so I knew it would be a good book. This non-reader loved it!

Monotonous, repetitive, uninspiring
I picked this up because a YouTuber recommended it. This will probably be the first and last time I'll read a YouTube book. This book was sooo incredibly repetitive, and while pretty funny at times, it got old really quickly. His desperate need to get a girlfriend really got on my nerves and his sense of entitlement that girls should like him back and treat him a certain way... Oh boy. By the end of the book, I truly did not give a damn about his girl problems. They're all the same, anyway. 2 stars because maybe 20% of the book held my interest, but I definitely would not recommend.

Mystery till the end
I loved this short mystery story - shame is so hard to find a hard copy to keep but well done keeping the mystery till the very end. Just when you think you know what the real story is they pull the rug under your feet and you end up on your behind with the twist - loved it!

Funny, poignant, insightful
A really fun read, appropriate for all ages because I believe there is something in this book that will resonate with just about anyone. The author shares painful stories with wit and good humor. There were a number of laugh-out-loud moments for me. However, the lessons in the book are quite serious. It was a hard book to put down.

Okay
I finished the book, I hope it would get better the entire time. It was not very amusing to me.

Loved it
Self-deprecating and honest, yet giggle-out-loud (embarrassingly, at a coffee shop, in front of other people) funny, this is a very relatable book addressing the perils of dating. I highly recommend it.
