Sauder Beginnings End Table, Highland Oak

We purchased this as a quick and easy bedside table for our guest room. It's simple, functional, and affordable. It's no high-end sturdy woodwork, but it's great for holding a small lamp and a glass of water and is still big enough for a book and a phone. We tend to move every few years for work so this is the perfect solution that won't break my heart if it's damaged in a move. Perfect for college students or people who rent and need functional, light weight furniture that might be moved frequently but still looks good.

This is very nice for a small, inexpensive table... Not only is it sturdy, but it looks good, too.It was packaged well and I received it with everything inside the box undamaged. The assembly for this table was so easy that I could do it by myself, just make sure you have a screwdriver.

Overall, this is a nice end table for the money. For $18, you can’t really go wrong. There is assembly required. I’m not the most talented person with tools, so it took me about a half hour to put it together. The holes are pre-drilled, so that helped. My only complaint is the one of the top support pieces was cracked. It was still usable, so I just put the cracked side where it wasn’t easily visible. Would buy again.

It was easy to assemble. The oak is warm and matches antique bureau. They are sturdy for lamps beside the bed. Use coasters for water glasses. It is pressed wood.
