The first thing I noticed about these hooks:1. Heads and necks are not shaped right and some are way to thin.2. The B, E, D hooks were bent.3. Some of blunt needles eyes are not centered and the case they are in is cracked in two places.4. The correct size for the USA “N” size hook is 9.00 and they made this “N” hook in this package a size 10.00. Totally wrong do not waste your time and money on these hooks. Go to a store that sells yarn you can get a much better product there.

I especially like that the hooks are marked with both US letter & number designation AND the size in mm. It’s why I chose this particular product compared to other very similar products.

Great buy for a beginner. The set was everything I needed to learn and began my project. It is not the hooks that make crochet easy... You still have to learn how to hold them and the yarn with the perfect amount of tension. Good luck✨

I thought these had a rounded bottom, but they have a point. That point eats into the palm of my hand. Maybe it depends on the size of your hand, I have 1hook that has a nice round end. Or I suppose they could make it a couple inches longer so it doesn’t rub on my palm.

Have not used these yet as they are for my daughter for Christmas, but they are well made!
