Does as described.
It's just like drawing on your clothes with a sharpie, except it's specifically for clothes. I had a black shirt that was starting to fade a bit and then somebody got a few drops of bleach on it. I covered the bleach marks with this no problem except it's a real true black. I've washed it a bunch and was hoping it would fade more being that it's just a fabric marker. It's been that nice bold black ever since. This has stood up to several washings and many hours at the gym with that shirt.

Only Temporary; Fades after a Wash or Two
This product only temporary dyes the article of clothing. It somewhat stands out if you look at the article of clothing closely. It does the job if you need to cover up some simple bleach stain. Using this marker leaves the clothing feeling crusty and dry from the ink if you over use it. After every wash, you will most likely need to re-apply to spots/areas (I wash my clothes on delicate and I have to re-apply it after every wash). It is better just to have your clothes fully re-colored/dyed. It temporarily does the job though.

Love these fabric makers and so does my co workers
Love these fabric makers and so does my co workers. I wear black uniform for work and works wonders on little light spots. Will wash out after a few washings and need to reaply.

So far so good, and I'm keeping the pen by my laundry ...
I bought a brand new set of purple PJ's. The very first time I wore them I did laundry and ended up with a bleach streak across my boob and another one across my tummy. Damnit! I bought these and followed the instructions, letting the ink dry for 24 hours before folding the PJ's and putting them away. So far so good, and I'm keeping the pen by my laundry supplies in case I have to do touch up if it fades. Thanks for making a product to fix my idiotic mistakes!

Didn't Work for Me
Did not work for me. I had a few spots where I accidentally got bleach on my knit skirt. I used the marker, let it dry exactly as recommended, and every repeated the steps twice. It still didn't cover up the spots.

Did the job well!
I got this pen to correct a spot on my black shirt that got splashed with bleach while I was cleaning the house...it got the job done, though I needed to apply several layers of dye to the spot. It seems like each time I washed the shirt, the dyed area would get a little lighter, so I'd need to reapply. It gets the job done but you will need to apply more than once (hence the 4 stars). Otherwise, no complaints!

Fades really fast
Well the markers work very well and they're super easy to use, the ink fades very quickly. After 2 washes it looked like I had never even used them. Very disappointed that they don't last long at all. Better off using a permanent marker instead.

Worked Perfect on my Sweater!
Love them! I bought this black and the grey one. I have a black and grey weave sweater that somehow ended up with what I guessed were bleach spots on it. I couldn't find anything locally, but found these on my go to Amazon. They worked perfectly and my sweater looks like there never was bleach on it. I couldn't have asked for better coverage. Since most of my clothes are black, red and grey, I will keep these on hand, always.

Four Stars
Good for colouring in the bottom portion of the brim on a hat. Works well on most fabrics.
