The Magnificent Mummy Maker

Elvira Woodruff has become my favorite authors for kids! My 5th graders love her books and can't wait to read the next one.

Very touching book

I read this book with a group of 5th graders. We could not put the book down! We only read for 30 mins a day but the students absolutely loved it! The characters are easy to relate to. The book involves, a death in the family, step-parent and siblings, father-son relationships, school life, best friend bonds, ancient history, humor, etc. Easy to read with some difficult words to use as a stopping point to discuses meaning. Overall great book. Would recommend it to any eager reader (4th-6th grade)!

The book was one of the best I have ever read. It is about a kid how wants to do something magnificent he makes a mummy for a school project. The mummy has powers and it can do tons of stuff.
