Nice item, but .............
this is a nice item and exactly what i wanted, very sturdy and a decent size. However, as others have said, there is no kind of dressing or paint on it at all, and the metal is rusted. It's a fine layer of rust, but it seriously detracts from the look of the item. I bought this for a gift so I just couldn't hand it over as it was, but forewarned by the other reviews, i got a tin of that paint that works with rust. It's had two coats, and it will need another one.
