A bit repetitive
A good book but I think it could have been a lot shorter. It’s repetitive and kind of depressing really.

It was ok, would have liked to hear more about how Fiennes steels himself to face fears and less about fears likely to be encountered in modern times

Absolutely Awful!!!
Do NOT buy the Kindle edition of this (I think) fascinating book. Large sections are missing. If you like R. F.'s books, as I do, get the paperback. The Kindle edition is a RIP-OFF! Buy be warned!

Ranulph Fiennes - A true present-day hero.
Great and very surprising read. I couldn't put it down and learned a lot about the conquest of fear, and the nature of true courage - that of being afraid, but doing it anyway.

Interesting
Interesting book. However, if you’ve read other books by the author, you’ll recognise a number or topics as quite a few repeats from his other books. Still a good read though.
