Oak key rack - 5 hooks but only 20cm wide. Simple, stylish and sustainable home decor. We have made several of these racks - your key rack will be selected randomly from these. They are extremely similar in size / placement of hooks etc, but please note that there is natural variation in the colour / grain of wood, as would be expected from air-dried Oak. These are a lighter Oak shade, we have a listing for a Darker Oak rack of the same dimensions... The hooks are made from traditional ‘Brad’ ('cut clasp') nails – these are the nails that were traditionally used when laying pine floorboards. Strength wise we are very confident that they will hold most things that you are likely to want to hang from them. When we make them we drill a suitable pilot hole to a depth just short of the plaque depth, this ensures that the nail is in as far as it can go. The nails are hand bent. There are 2 screw holes neatly fitted with 2 brass screw caps, so that this item can be directly mounted on the wall. The key rack is smoothly sanded and then finished with our homemade beeswax and Tung oil 'butter'.
