Love this candle lighter!

I love that this is an environmentally friendly way to have a lighter with a long neck. It doesn’t need to be charged often and works great.

Looks great and works. Easy to get used to.

The tip gets dirty and doesn't work anymore. I did clean it for a while but it decided... NO MORE.I bought a different one some 5 years ago which is still working

I love how easy and environmentally friendly this device is! It works well! There’s a high pitched sound with it, but that doesn’t bother any of us because it is so quick to use.

This lighter is easy to use and is great for candles. It is honestly better than your usual candle lighter. Lights very quickly and reliably.

Aside from the little bits on either side of the “zapping” part melting from being in the candle flame when it’s lit, this still works wonderfully. Luckily those pieces are not required for the arc to form.

Really easy to use. A charge lasts for ages. Feels much safer than using gas lighters or matches.

The product worked well for a few weeks and then, the tip broke, making the product all wobbly...Quite disappointing at that price point.

I was after something mainly for lighting candles, gas rings and camping gas lights. I had previously been using a butane gas candle lighter, but thought the arc lighter would be more convenient, saving the need to keep refilling with butane and replacing flints.The product arrived next day (on Amazon Prime) and was well packaged. It included the lighter, and USB charging lead. There was no mains USB charging plug included, but I view this as a benefit, as I already have a drawer full of such plugs. The lighter only requires a 1 amp supply for charging, so any USB charger, powerbank of laptop would do.The lighter feels to be of good build quality, being almost entirely metal, and worked as advertised. I particularly like the fact that the on/off slider switch covers the power button when off. This is an extra safety measure.The arc only lights whilst the button is depressed, going out as soon as the button is released. If the button is held continuously, it extinguishes after 7 seconds, requiring the slider to be turned off and on again to relight.So far I have used it successfully on candles where it takes about 2 seconds to ignite the wick. Although I havent used it for gas stoves or lights yet, I have no reason to believe it will not work efficiently.For anyone looking to light cigarettes, I suspect that this design would not be very successful due to the relatively narrow gap between the prongs. For lighting cigarettes, you would probably need to use an arc cigarette lighter with twin arcs.Overall, I am very happy with this purchase and believe it to be excellent value for money.
