KiWAV Magazi motorcycle brake lever lock compatible for loading jacking up bike

Just traveled via ferry from Cape May, NJ to Lewes, DE and used this brake lever lock to secure bike. It was simple to use and it worked well. My buddies were wrapping velco strips around their brake lever to secure it but this simple device made it so easy to secure the brake lever. My buddies were impressed!!!

It broke after 5 minutes on the bike, in the hot sun. The rubber got so soft and just pulled apart from plastic. Good thing I had the bike in gear too!

Function wise: great gadget, worked well. Design wise, well.... Went to use it the other day and the black rubber part apparently decided to grow legs and get as far away from the red piece as it could. Now that pretty red piece sits in the far corner of the junk drawer in my tool chest and wonders, "That jerk. Does he even realize I can't function without him?"

I have a motorbike with a Rekluse auto clutch. With the Rekluse, having the bike in gear does not keep it from rolling. Not a problem unless parking on an incline. This lever helps with this situation. It's simple, effective, and cheap. I wish Rekluse had provided this instead of the velcro straps.

I was reluctant to buy this as I thought it was overpriced for what it was. However I find it brilliant for not only locking the front brake, but for speed when un-locking the brake. So much easier than doubling elastic type bands. Un-clip....clip.Plus there never seems to be an elastic band around when I want one.

Simple device that works as advertised. My buddy did point out that you could also use a large zip-tie to do the same job...

Poor quality plastic handle, doesn't stand up to the strength of the band.

I use this on a Goldwing trike as a parking brake...I have the Kury ISO hand grips and it's a tight fit, but it works. I leave it on the hand brake lever and push it up so it stays out of the way when not in use. There's no way it can fly off my set up. It's not pricey, so worth a try. My only complaint is that I'm not real fond of the red plastic--would prefer grey or black.
