Kind Of Blue Stereo

I was shocked at how bad this vinyl release sounds, both the stereo and mono versions. I learned after ordering that's its essentially a bootleg mastered from a prior CD release instead of higher resolution source material. The vinyl is very noisy and completely lacking in dynamic range. I looked up the release on discogs after a few minutes of listening and this Now Music pressing is banned for resale there because it's so notoriously bad. I exchanged my copy for a regular stereo Sony Music pressing still being sold directly by Amazon and I can't stress how much better the Sony pressing is. This one is so bad, Amazon should destroy their remaining stock.

Stay away, horrible audio quality - no dynamics, no highs, sounds muffled and lifeless.Pops and clicks are there too, but not overwhelming... but whatever source they used simply does not deserve to be on vinyl, you'd do better with digital streaming.Check other vinyl editions instead, I got Columbia Legacy '6-eyes' that is also sold by Amazon - it is worlds better!

I like the music of Miles Davis. These CD were interesting just because one was mono and one was stereo. Same music. (I like the stereo one best.)

Returned this item. LP was very noisy and audio was poor.

This and Derek and the Dominoes "Layla" album are my favorite of all time. Works great and sounds amazing.

I'm not shure if this is from the original master tape or digital record, that being said, I did enjoy both mono & stereo versions of it.

This CD is absolutely wonderful! I plan on purchasing a record player, it's nothing like listening to music on Vinyl. I Love Miles Davis's music!

Quality production and materials and delivered on time well packaged but the music not my cup of tea too jazzy instead of blues - too much trumpet and realise I don't like tenor sax - baritone and alto for me - the only track I did like was "I'm Old Fashioned" the trombone and piano great. I'm sure anyone knowing John Coltrane music will enjoy this record, sound very clear but not for me.

Only one word to describe this vinyl lp it is just excellent and having mono & stereo is a bonus. Enjoying the sound of Miles.

I did, and was so pleasantly surprised by how good this music was, after I said, "I would never like jazz". Not too proud to admit I was wrong.

Seemed a great deal having both mono and stereo versions but yet again crackling and surface noice spoiled a great sounding album. Disappointing for sure.
