Good option for small spaces
Got this for my dad in assisted living - he wears a neck brace and it helps him not bend. Study enough to put lightweight books and magazines on (he does word searches on it daily) without collapsing but light enough to carry around and collapses to store wellWhen not in use

Very difficult to see degrees of angle on leg settings.
I had to play with the legs quite a bit to figure out how to use the stand before I got it set how I can best us the stand. My major complaint is the very tiny arrows, black on black, that show the degree of angles. These arrows either need to be larger or painted a different color.

PERFECT for reading in bed
Holds even the thickest books very well. Reading a paperback that is 1 + 1/2 inches thick and it holds it just fine. Super adjustable to what ever angle you may want to read at. Sturdy construction but also light weight to handle. The only draw back that I can see, which could be a problem for some, if you are heavy in the hips or thigh area of your body, the width may not work for you. You have 13 and 1/4 inches to fit it into around your body. I'm small so it was not a problem for me.

I purchased this for a family member who had surgery on his neck, and was not supposed to look down, or bend his neck fo several weeks. He is using this to hold books and documents for reading, and it also holds his laptop so he can work from home. He said it is working out very well for him. Glad I got it for him.
