The statements in my review are purely my personal use experience of the product. When I first saw an ad for zōk on my feed it was addressing tinnitus and excess pressure in the ears. As I suffer from both I began to look on Amazon for maybe a cheaper version. The more I looked, the more clear it became that zōk was the way to go and I figured I’d go with the one made right and not a dupe, because I was getting desperate for some relief. And I’m so glad I did! First try was a slight learning curve only in the sense of knowing which direction to kind of point the tip towards the ear canal. You will be able to tell! Just got to find that sweet spot. It was instant relief. I get a lot of sinus pressure being down south in the spring with all the pollen! It causes my sinus polyps to become inflamed and swollen and block my nasal passage. The oddest and most unexpected relief was how much easier I could breathe through my nose after 3-5 uses of the device. I’m very thankful to have found such a simple, easy to use, and carry tool to help provide more comfort in my health. Thank you zōk!!!

I got the ZOK, read the instructions, watched several instructional videos, and once I got a headache, I tried it out. The first ear went fine, but while using it on the other ear, I heard a tearing sound inside my ear and felt an extremely sharp pain run down from my ear through my neck. Immediately my hearing in that ear was plugged. I was very concerned and tried to call the company to ask what I should do, but could not find a customer phone number for them anywhere. I then messaged them through Facebook Messenger with no immediate response. I then went right to a local medical facility, who thankfully squeezed me in right away. The doctor concluded that the ZOK ruptured my eardrum! I then had to go get prescription steroid/antibiotic ear drops and another another treatment to apply topically around the ear. The doctor warned against ever using the ZOK again and said to throw it away. She also said nobody should ever use anything like this in their ear.Eventually I was able to email with the owner of ZOK. I asked if there was any help available for the medical bills and any future help needed as a result of the damage the ZOK caused. He offered to send me some nutritional drinks or something, but never did. He was clearly not willing to help with my expenses his product caused. He then ignored my emails, despite me checking in a few more times. My experience proved dishonesty, lying and a lack of care for customers.A good company should take responsibility, have integrity and show care for their customers, for the damage their product has caused.I have since seen SEVERAL testimonial videos online of others having devastating results from the ZOK, with no help from the company. I also wanted to note that I have never had any ear issues prior to this.It has now been 4 months and I am still struggling with that ear still being plugged. I really hope this review helps save others from the awful damage this product can do.

My husband loves this for his ears when they get plugged during car rides up and down the mountain. He felt immediate relief.I also felt a an incredible release/relief of pressure in both of my ears after using mine. I sometimes feel more plugged in one ear and was surprised how the Zok quickly helped both of us. I haven't experienced a plugged ear since using this a few times.We will continue to use this product.

This is my 2nd one. The first one, the tip separated from the stem while in my ear after over a year of use. Spoke with someone about it through Facebook messenger a short time ago, and they said they ideally should be replaced occasionally. I received this one many days ago, but I basically had to wait for the next migraine in order to try it.The first one had stopped getting a seal without pushing further into the ear, which is how I ended up with the tip stuck and needing a friend to take it out with my tweezers. It did not cause any pain or damage, but I was scared to use it again. I did have another migraine after that, bad enough to make me desperate to get relief. I was super mindful of how I was using it, but the tip stayed in my ear when I went to change ears again.I don't understand why I was able to get good seal and the bulb stayed compressed during use, then all of a sudden it was like the shape of my ear had completely changed. Well, with the new one I was being super careful. I tried many many spots and angles trying to avoid putting it too deep. I did pull up on the top of my ear and got a seal, and it did relieve some of the severity of the migraine. But no matter what I did, when I went to take the zok out, I found that the bulb had reinflated already. This occurred with both ears. I did get a seal, it did provide some relief, but it did NOT stay compressed.I'm only partly convinced about it losing compression no matter what. It reinflated slowly, and I did get enough relief to be able to tolerate the headache. Basically it brought a 7 down to a 3. I do worry about it a little though, and will be extra super cautious/anxious every single time I use it.I wish it came with different size tips so I could choose a slightly larger size, and perhaps that would prevent it needing to go quite as far in the ear. But I am assuming that would help, I don't actually know it for sure. I do know for sure that not every ear is the same, and even the cheapest ear buds generally come with size options to address that. An expensive product that you will use multiple times per use should, too.I'm extremely grateful for the migraine relief, but don't go using them willy nilly, people. Exercise slow caution and be very mindful of every movement you make when you put this in your ear. Watch the instruction video. Read the directions. If it's been awhile, refresh your memory on the instructions immediately prior to use, every time. Use them like you are an adult, and these are the only ears you will ever have, and you should get relief without any ear damage. And know that at some point, they WILL wear out and need replaced.
