600lb Truck Hitch Deer Hoist with Foot Base

Product came very well packed with picture directions to assemble. Package and product is heavy so be aware when you order. I noticed an issue with one of the bearing when I was assembling it, and per enclosed instructions, I emailed the manufacturer. I received a response within the hour and an entire new lower unit, not just the bearing, was shipped that day at no cost to me. Extraordinary customer service and response. I like the leg that you can put down to the ground if you choose. The unit swings very easily once the locking pin is undone so as to put your game into the bed of your truck. Haven't used it for hunting yet, but I did hang a 55 gallon barrel deer feeder on it so that I could replace the battery and paint it. Worked excellent. Highly recommend this product . . . good value for your money.

I didn't end up hitting a buck / or elk this year! ( I was smart enough to try out muzzle loader :( tag for both!! ) however it came handly when i needed to remove my boats 200 HP Yamah motor! the shop told us it will cost 500 to take it off the boat and install the new one, it took my friend and I less than an hour to take it off using this hoist! it easily handled the wight ( about 500 lb). I'm looking forward to using it for deer / elk season.Pros:- Very Very well built, sturdy, good design and easy to use.cons:- it is a bit heavy, and it takes some room at the back of the truck.

I researched several deer hoist products to use with my Polaris Ranger. After reading the reviews and studying the descriptions of these products I chose this hoist. I am glad I did. It arrived well packaged and in perfect condition. It was very easy to assemble which took about 15 minutes. I went hunting the day we assembled it and used it to hoist two does. It worked perfectly. I can tell that this hoist will last a long time. I would definitely recommend this product and look forward to using it regularly.

One of the bearings has a tendency to fall apart when it’s in transit, so you just have to put it back together before you assemble it. Other than that it works great! Used for a Gemsbok Oryx and lifted the whole thing without a problem, by far the easiest way to skin large game animals

Overall the hoist seems to be a good piece of equipment. Have not actually used it yet but its heavy duty and I can see it will work well. My only beef is where the upper and lower pieces go together to swivel. The upper piece did no fit down into the lower piece. So I had to take a grinding wheel on my drill and basically "hone" out the lower piece. Took me 45 minutes of goofing around but I got it. Now it slips right over and works good from what I can tell.

I can't speak highly enough of about the package I recieved. (not to mention HUGE package) It was packaged like a pro and not a single flaw. We done alot of research on these types of hoists, and I do believe that anyone searching for one will be very pleased with this one. It is very well made, looks like it is impossible to destroy and looks to last a lifetime! I bought this in 2019. I used it a few times, I had it stored in my back yard and the protective cover came off the bearing and so it rusted.Contacted the seller, they do not know of a replacement bearing nor do they have partsThere was no number on the bearing or race, so I had to go to a bearing supply and they did find a replacement.Look for a better designed hoist, one that has either sealed bearings or enclosed bearings before buying a trailer hitch mounted game hoist

Now that I have used it, I'll write a review. Busted a nice buck in an open field. I got in my truck and drove up to the buck. Gutted it and pulled him away from the gut pile. Put the gambel in and started cranking. As the deer is coming up off of the ground, he lays right against the crank. I had to put my back against the deer to hold him away from the crank. Messy job. The crank has a short handle, so you get almost no leverage when you lift the deer. I am a disabled vet and have had 8 heart attacks and two heart surgeries. The chore of hoisting the deer off the ground took a LOT of effort on my part. After getting him off the ground, the skinning and butchering right where he fell was great. For those of you who say I broke the law, after the shot, I call in my deer before butchering. Cons, you better have some muscle or it will be one big task to get the deer off the ground. Putting you body against the carcass is messy. Pros, hanging a deer in the field doing the butchering there is great. Let the coyotes clean up the mess. Make sure and bring a cooler of ice with you.
