Simple, but amazing computer desk
The media could not be loaded. The package arrived in my house about one month ago. I didn’t assemble it until I got my friend to do it for me. Believe me or not, I never did this kind of assembling job. I think this is too complicated for a little lady. Don’t blame on me for taking advantage of my friend. I left my house for grocery shopping and came back in two hours while my friend was given a job to assemble the desk for me. After I came back to my house, I saw my friends was still sitting at the couch. The original box was still sitting on the ground. I thought that he hasn’t started to build my desk, and I was a little mad that he was taking his sweet time to start the project. However I was wrong. I went up to the second floor, and I saw the computer desk was done nicely. I asked my friend, Why so fast? He replied, This is nothing. Well, all I can say is this desk must be very easy to assemble.Let me tell you why I buy this computer desk. It is all about distance learning. Here I have one more thing to say, I hate COVID-19. Because of the pandemic issue, My children have to stay at home taking the distance learning classes. Distance learning it’s not a problem for my older kids. But it is very challenging for my kindergartener. She didn’t have too much school experience. She doesn’t even know how to log into the classroom. How people expect them to take the class independently? I think the distance learning class is not a class for my youngest, it is a class that is designed to guide parents to teach the kid at home.Anyway, I don’t have a desk that with a perfect height for my youngest daughter to sit at. All she has is a playing table. When she is taking the online class, she bend her back too much, It is not good for the body mechanism. Also the table is so small that I cannot even sit with her and tell her what to do. Therefore buying an adjustable and larger desk will be a better solution. After seeing The desk, my daughter is very excited. She cannot wait to start her distance learning class the next day. During the class time, she keep telling her classmates that she got a new desk. I can adjust the height for her any time to make her feel more comfortable. The desk is big enough for both of us to sit in front of it. It has enough space to put all her class material on top of it. As my daughter grow, I can adjust the desk according to my daughter’s height Instead of buying a new one. Oh by the way, this adjustable desk is not a cheap one, it is heavy. It made with high quality material. I believe it will last lifetime. Although it is a little pricey, but it really worth it. I am thinking about when my daughter is tired of this desk, I will take it into my room, and it becomes my desk.Loving this purchase.

End Product is Excellent, Getting There is Challenging
To me, if the end product is high quality, difficult assembly doesn't negatively impact the rating...hope that explains my 5-star rating. I really like this desk, despite a challenging build. It's sturdy, attractive, and the mechanism to raise and lower it works flawlessly. Being able to memorize favorite positions is also a plus.Assembly is...somewhat complicated. The instructions are minimalist, with virtually no text and smallish images that don't always clearly suggest what needs to be done. I did end up taking the top apart and correcting a build error I'd made after I was further down the road putting this desk together than I would have liked, but short of the time lost, it wasn't a problem. If you're not confident you can put together something with a lot of parts and minimalist instructions, I'd pay Amazon to hire someone to put it together for you. I haven't done this myself, but a good friend who has assures me it's worth the price.

Great desk so far!
Update: As a warning, don't use the side hooks as a tether for your dog. My 8mo corgi (21 lb) managed to rip it off as she was walking away from the desk, and the screw is too short to put back in. Since the desk wasn't designed to be used as a tether and I mad the decision to tether my pup, I won't remove any stars for this. This is more to inform other users with pets.I got my mom the standing desk with the double drawers from Fezibo before buying my own desk with the keyboard tray, and she absolutely loved it. Right off the bat for both desks, I recommend spending the extra money to have the desk assembled for you unless you're a weirdo like me who actually likes to assemble these things. With this desk, I was able to figure out where everything needed to be placed, but I ended up not following the instructions as written since going out of order made assembling easier compared to following the book step by step.PROS:- All items are clearly labeled, making it easy for me to identify what needs to go where. I do wish for a little more clarity in terms of the proper positioning of certain parts since with both tables, I had parts assembled the wrong way and only realized them at a later step, so I had to take parts apart to fix it.- The table moves up and down relatively smoothly, with 3 preset configurations that I can set up.- I have the option to switch the feet to caster wheels, making it very easy to move around. The table also isn't too heavy, and I can still lift it off the ground without an issue (I'm a 5' 2" woman!).- The finish is very beautiful, and it seems pretty sturdy so far.- I love the cable organizer that comes with the desk. The instructions indicate to nail it into the desk and the back of it is very clutter free now!- Even with all of the hardware under the table, there is still just enough space underneath to fit a surge protector. I currently have a 12-socket surge protector mounted to the bottom of my desk.CONS:- Assembling is not super easy, as noted in my comment in the beginning, but it was a fun challenge for me so maybe it's a pro there (haha)?- Compared to the standing desk with the double drawers, which used one motor with a bar across the center beam, this desk uses 2 motors with a cable between the two. This gives me another cable hanging with all of the other cables I have.- I do wish the keyboard tray was a little wider, but this may be because I purchased the 48" desk. After adding my keyboard, I only have less than 6" of horizontal real estate for my mouse.- The upper table comes with 4 boards: two of the outer boards, and two for the center area. This does save space during shipment, but this also creates a horizontal line in the center.

Durable Desk!
I've used this desk almost every workday for three years. It's sturdy, holds a monitor, laptop and books, and has a wide adjustable height range. The adjustable mechanism has worked well the entire time I've had it. Would definitely recommend it for anyone!
