Reese Fifth Wheel Cover

I removed the pull handles and I use lock pin when I put handles back on when using my 5th wheel. Cover fits great and stays on even going through the car wash or driving on the highway. Good thick Cover but a bit soft.

Covering your 5th wheel hitch when not in use can help prevent rust and corrosion. The cover can also protect the hitch from dirt and debris that can accumulate on it when it's not in use. If you lube your jaws even with a light lubricant, dirt can accumulate in the jaw mechanism. I use this cover to keep the hitch protected at all times when not in use. I had one for close to a year but it was lost while not in place, so I went right back to this one again. It has two openings on one end of the cover which should allow protrusion by the jaw handle on many makes of hitch. It is quite thick and thus I don't expect significant wear even with the elements coming down or from possible rubbing by the hitch. Two straps with buckle provide for easy attachment to/over the hitch plate.

I had seen a review from someone indicating that this product would work with other Hitches so I ordered it. Well it is universal fit and works great on my B&W Patriot 18K slider. Has 2 holes for the handle to go through, one on the front part of the left side and one on the rear of the left side. Slips right on, just need to run the buckle straps up under the unit. It stays on, doesn't really move around much as you are out traveling. Folds up compact for storage when you get ready to hook up as well. This is not a thin cheaply made cover, it is a good weight and well stitched. I'm confident I'll get many years of service out of it. Overall pleased, would recommend this to anyone with a fifth wheel hitch in their truck.
